And late today, the NBA made it a point to make sure ALL their teams understand they must ALL stand, too.

The memo states that individual teams "do not have the discretion to waive" the rule that players, coaches and staff must stand for the anthem. The league has the discretion to discipline players who violate the rule.

Unfortunately, by taking a knee during the Anthem, they are also disrespecting all of those soldiers that died. Those protesters can't have it both ways. There are millions of active & veteran military that see it as a sign of disrespect.

Considering it was a soldier that told him it was disrespectful to sit and instead it would be better to kneel... I think that any blanket statement made of how the military or individual soldiers feel about it is not particularly accurate.
