Now they have painted themselves into a corner. They can never stop protesting since no one is ever going to admit that the police are not brutalizing the black community, that white privilege is holding down that black community or that race relations have improved. This protest now has to be the new norm, because the black players are never going to admit that they're wrong on the issue and if they stop the protests, then it is an admission that they were phony in the first place and the league owners cannot help them out because they're white and they would then be part of the conspiracy to keep the black man down.
