They couldn't get any Higher? *chuckle*

There's your lesson folks... Don't get high when you're too high.

I've been up Scafell lots of times. And I've seen the weather up there turn from warm and sunny to vicious in minutes.

That may be true... but if you're going to smoke the shit, thats at the top.

Oh wow REALLY? lol their status as total pussies is verified.

It was the "Cannabis smokers" that told the reason why!:D

The British climbers who were in the team that first climbed Everest trained on Scafell and in Snowdonia.

It's not the height that is dangerous, it's the terrain and the sudden change in weather. People die on Scafell and not from incompetence.

The number of times I've been up there and met people wearing just shorts and a t shirt with no foul weather gear is mind boggling. Visibility can go from miles to inches in the space of five minutes.

Perhaps they should have trained here;

The base is 6,500ish and the crest is 10.750 ft. It's were you can barely make out the antenna farm with the 200-300 ft antennas sticking up.

I've met them in Snowdonia. I persuaded a couple of women who were intending to use the PYG track that high heels were not sensible. I think they went back to their car and changed footwear.

Wouldn't an airdrop of Doritos be considered a rescue?

Of course, but not an extraordinary rescue. An extraordinary rescue would require an air drop of Screaming Yellow Zonkers.
