Femanists attack school for high heel lessons

Heels aren't just gender specific though, are they? They can lead to a multitude of injuries and issues, and the better lesson would be that you find suitable footwear that will not harm your health.

What next? Lessons in smoking stylishly?

Dollie at New Orleans

When our adopted son was in his early teens he was still going on vacations and camping with us. We went to a shop off the main Burbon Street area because I saw some kneehigh red boots on sale. Inside there were only men. Several worked there and a few other men were trying on high heels.
We knew right off they were gay. Our son grabbed his dad and begged to get out of there.
He ended up wanting to go back to the RV. In a way it was good for us. Now we went to the sexy bars and topless places one day and next day we'd take our son to a beach or something else family friendly.
It sure was odd seeing those men in short shorts talking about heels.
They walked better in them than I did.

Funny, I thought feminism meant not treating people like inferiors because tits. Y'know, equal opportunity, same pay for same work, equal justice, little stuff like that.

[/me awaits alt.reality retort about feminazis and lezbo murder gangs carrying pink 45s, not to mention evil organ-stealing bitches harvesting testicles]

To be fair, Renny's talking about femanism, not feminism.

There's a difference, y'see! :D

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. It's like the difference between real seals and were-seals aka selkies. Yes, femanists (and femanasts, too) are the selkies of the cultural world. The fishy smell gives them away.

I can't open this link ... but exactly when did 'walking in high heels' become part of the state-funded education curriculum?

^^^ Probably comes under Marketing Your Ass(etts) or How to Get Ahead By Giving Head.

i know, right?

why teach them about history, sciences, technology, geography, biology, languages... all that boring, silly old stuff, when you can eat into your school budget and time-allowance per lesson by teaching girls How To Walk In High Heels? not like they need to learn anything other than home economics, how to cook if your resident chef lets you down, flower arranging and looking good to catch your prize husband.

w.t.f.f?

i would be livid if i'd have learned my daughter's school was teaching that instead of a proper lesson.

I guess the boys are in another room getting lessons in catcalling well?

My school used to have a male beauty pageant and they'd teach the guys to wear heels.

Some VCE students from Bendigo's Girton Grammar have complained about the high heel walking practice class in a letter to the school, slamming it as "demeaning and sexist".

In an email from the school seen by the ABC, the workshop involved "deportment and presentation skills, including how to manage wearing high heels".

Current students, who wanted to remain anonymous, said their parents were also disgusted by the request to bring high-heeled shoes to school for etiquette classes.

"Mum and Dad are not keen on paying pretty hefty fees and lots of extras for me to learn how to wear heels," one student said.

So, it's a private Christian school in Australia and the class is more about etiquette, almost a finishing school kind of thing.

^^ You know OP's threads are a ruse. It's right in his name.

All hot girls should know how to rock the highest heels their feet and legs can safely handle.
