We have shown that we are a great country, stable through transition, and stronger together!! Please let us all be Americans...all of us! Thank you. Yeah!!!

He could blow that speedball by you
Make you look like a fool, boy...

Yup....

I taught history. I was liberal when young, not now at 72. I am, however, tolerant of others. I always thought America was exceptional, and I have travelled enough to know its true. This is the place of opportunity and it can fix itself. I read charts for 26 years, so I have some clue of what your challenges are.

It is a sign of a stable political system when governments can change without violence.

I've heard that something is rotten in that state.
I checked; it was a boatload of Russian tourists wandering around København. I've run into them in Central America. You can tell the Yanks because they dress like slobs, often smoke, but are fairly clean. Russians are the same but without body sanitation. Stand upwind of that crowd.

The ominous thread title IT'S OVER! sound like a doomsday alert. It's over. Gone. Done. Caput. The end of history. The end of civilization. The end of cheap beer.

And no more taco trucks. What's an America without taco trucks? I saw my first in L.A. circa 1967. They're a tradition, moreso than Faux Newz or AIDS. It's like the NOAA Waffle House Index. If the Waffle Houses in an area are open then the disaster ain't too bad. When the taco trucks leave, you know the upcoming shitstorm will be monstrous.

It's over. No more networking. No more fucking. No more snorting nitrous or crack or steroids. No more scabies, at least. Will the parasites all go too?

Not many places have done it as well as we do.

This was the first time, at least in my experience, that an incoming president was attacked as ferociously as Trump was, beginning the day after the election. My experience goes back to 1952.

On behalf of Europe, we thank you for staying put.

I know I know, last thing you want over there is another proponent for individual liberty and freedom of association. That shit fucking horrifies most Europeans.

Besides I'm not a jihadi so my odds of being able to immigrate to Europe are pretty much non-existant.

If you keep yelling "Allah is great!" and brandishing weapons, you should have no problem.

Yes, Obama.

Perhaps DJT would have enjoyed a better early reception if he hadn't been a flaming fucking asshole during the campaign, inviting violence against media and opponents, labeling all criticizing or reporting on him as THE ENEMY. Did he expect declared enemies to roll over and lick his balls? If you've been declared an enemy, isn't it your job to take down the accuser?

Sign of stupidity: Run for the most scrutinized and critiqued office in the world when you can't take scrutiny or criticism? Duh. Gain the presidency and expect everyone to love you? Duh. The shitstorms he's whipped up follow him. Enjoy.

You didn't notice that more than 50% of the UK voted to leave the EU? They wanted to keep their individual liberty previously sold out to the non-elected EU bureaucrats - and to refuse entry to jihadists. The EU didn't allow us to stop free movement, even of known criminals or terrorists.

You are confusing individual liberty with national sovereignty.
