$47 billion would cover the tuition for Bernie's plan to offer merit based scholarships for all attendees of public colleges and universities, but that is a non-starter?

Talk about a "Guns vs Butter" macroeconomic case study.

I vote for an educated electorate, skilled workers and not saddling the next generation with massive debt. Not guns.

No reason that should cost anywhere near as much.

For what is already spent public schools shouldn't be charging shit, the state shouldn't be in the business of making money.

You're a socialist...you don't get to say that.

Also you lost the vote and now the majority is going to bend you over and force you to suck on all that democratic socialism buddy, isn't it wonderful? LMFAO :D

I saw that. It did not please me.

What? More government power and spending doesn't please you?

I thought that's what you wanted!! :D

Do you really believe that any money is going to go towards an educated electorate and to make workers more skilled? Lol.

I'd buy (a) or more guns if I were you.

The military needs that to cover their legal bills from the transgender ban.

Yes. I do.

Why should we have so many HB-1 visas for $100K - $175K/yr jobs when we could educate our own engineers?

Why have an electorate that believes that "god willing" things will get better when they can make choices themselves to makes thing better because they have the benefit of a knowledge of history?

So yes, I do. It is money better spent than on tanks the Pentagon does not want or need, jet fighters that can't fly through clouds or mercenaries.

Trump wants to start a new tradition of having the military parade down Pennsylvania Avenue on Independence Day. Gonna needs some shiny new hardware.

You might want to take those glasses off bro.

Then they'll have a chance to fire into the crowds, just like Russians.

Assuming that crowds show up for the parade.

Smart people would stay far away.

Meanwhile I'm reminded of the old budget-setting paradigm. One side wants to increase spending by $60 billion. The other side wants a $66 billion raise. They compromise on $80 billion. That's how it usually works.

USA spends more on "national security" than the rest of the world combined but it's never enough. Just the amount the Pentagon can't account for would pay most national budgets. Where did those billions in baled banknotes go?

Then they'll have a chance to fire into the crowds, just like Russians.

That is a far reach. And really, still Russia huh?

You say game over but your side can't really ever accept, move on and try to work together.

Pox, maybe you need to come back home and breathe normal air.

The last time the military fired into the crowd was the assassination of Anwar Sadat...

Now I know many of these clowns would approve of the same thing happening to Trump.

Hullooo Mr. Tree and all you GB pricks! (Did that sound insulting enough?)

Haven't stopped by in a long time. I see you have upgraded to pie charts, very nice. I am trying to upgrade my insults. I traded in tosser for prick. I'm hoping it "pops".

Hope you are finding plenty of topics to discuss in a polite and civilized manner over tea. Also hope the kitchen knives are locked away. Need to sleep, it's almost 3 am.

Drive by hi!!

Well, I was going to show the difference between

6,970,000,000,000

and 80,000,000,000

In 2016 military spending was 21% of the budget. This doesn't even get the level of spending back to that and we have ships running into all sorts and manner of things because they are running on a shoestring!

But the people of Texas and Florida sure as hell were glad to see the Navy show up...

:) ;) ;)

Good morning!
