Oh good Gawd, has NK launched?

The one thing everyone keeps forgetting is that nobody -- including North Korea-- wants to fight a nuclear war. And the only way to fight a conventional war (which nobody really wants either), is to move massive numbers of troops into position for an invasion, whether it's NK invading South or us invading NK.

And in this day and age, you can't maneuver massive numbers of invasion troops into position without lots and lots of people taking notice.

If that starts happening, then you can sweat.

....and there is always the question of...."where is the nearest McDonald's"?

I mean....you know.....

LOL! One month, tops, eh? well...yano, I don't even fuckin' know anymore.
More like about two hours till glassification of DPRK. Less, if Tromp isn't busy defoliating natural preserves.

One might expect financial markets to react to perceived threat levels. They do, but not as you'd expect. A small decreased threat might see stock gains. A small increased threat might see some stock losses, quickly erased. But a major threat? Traders say that if the end of the world is at hand there's no need to sell-off stocks 'cause we're all fucking doomed anyway.

So don't trust the markets for warnings. Maintain your own state of paranoia.

Prediction: As a humanitarian gesture, Kim will launch a nuke-tipped ICBM into Irma's eye, to break her up and prevent further devastation. If the eye happens to be over Tampa then, so be it.

Should we place any credence on the idea that the NK h-bomb test was a hoax? I'm reading that SK detected no radionuclides despite intensive reconnaissance. But I had also read the test coincided with rightly timed and type of seismological data.

Even so, who cares if NK has the bomb? Like what are they gonna do with it except shoot themselves in the foot with it?
