My youngest grandson called the first movie "Hey Hey" because "Come and Get Your Love" was part of the Chris Pratt introduction. He loved it and I still like watching it even though I've seen it a number of times.
I made it through the movie version of the sequel with my 6-year-old grandson, who is too young for theaters though he insisted he wanted to go. He squirmed all the way through it.
I'm sure that's why I didn't enjoy the second movie as much as the first. We'll get the Blue Ray and I'm sure I'll come to enjoy it.
Saw it first week. Forgot to cop it on disc, though!
My only naggle about the second is that there was almost too much reliance on Baby Groot for comic relief as the "cute" character set-up. Just almost. They kept everything else in its proper lanes, though. Thought Quill's pops was going to be someone else, was happily surprised to be surprised in being wrong and even more happy they're keeping who I thought it was gonna be in the wings for later use.
Soundtrack is fire. Copped that after seeing it, good compilation of classic songs that mostly comprised of stuff that wasn't retro'd to death in other likewise old-school comps for movies.
