It's the worlds worst industrial disaster.

US company Union Carbide were manufacturing highly toxic substances in Indian......because it was cheaper and less regulation than would have been present if they were manufacturing in the US.

Due to poor maintenance and as a result of these lax regulations there was a gas leak and between 4000 and 8000 people died and 100's of thousands injured.

And that's why we need regulation.
