The very first sliver of the moon has started to creep in between us and the sun. We won't reach 100%, but 93% should be cool...

We are about 30 min for the darkest and I am beginning to notice a change in the light level.

I'm sitting outside, should be starting in 20 minutes but it's cloudy and raining.

It's odd, though, there is NO wind. Crickets chirping, I don't hear any birds. It's so still.

Outside it did not seem to get as dark as I had expected, but inside it is like when a rain cloud is overhead. And the temp did drop, at least it felt that way.
