The term "white privilege" sounds anti -white to me.
Saying that blacks or other minorities still encounter pockets of discrimination carries an entirely different connotation.
And btw white immigrants do come across occasional xenophobic attitudes too, but we don't complain about "american or australian privilege".

A good part of 'discrimination' is simply survival instincts, the other part is preferences. But NONE of it is based in hatred or any notion of superiority.

We go to a restaurant together and you can order you can order your Brie, I'll have my pate' de foie gras. You can have your Tune, I'll have my Porterhouse. It really is just that simple.

I think that the problem here is that the discrimination and racism of a small group of people with some power is being blamed on the a much larger group that the smaller group is a part of.

My first responsibility is to ME! If I can't take care of me I'm of no use to anyone else. Next is my family. I can get emotional over all the aforementioned. Then comes the regime under which I, we all, live. I have no confidence that any regime is going to take care of me, my family, or you. So it's back to me.......again.

The only weapon I have at my disposal, short of lethal force, is to fight the insanity of irrational emotions is logic. Thoughts based on the history of all that has come before.
