My thoughts on the VA demonstration.

It's kinda fun watching the second civil war evolve. The only open issue is just how violent it's going to get?

Ishmael

As long as the angry voices on the Left refuse to admit any culpability and condone the violence by the people that they have fired up with their serious allegations of "right-wing" terrorism and hate speech, it's going to get very violent.

As I just stated, with every condonation by silence, this group gets the message to keep on acting out and they gain more admirers and supporters and everyone who fights back in any way, as we see above, is going to be claimed to be the instigator.

I just hope we're gonna build a wall around Ohio to keep terrorists out of the rest of the country.

I said that yesterday.

Of course, I called for a Y-y-y-y-yuge wall... ;) ;)

Agreed. And you'll be on the losing side. Again.

Even when 'your side' held the commander-in-chief slot that was a laughable fantasy...because logistics and population concentrations.

Major cities panic at a brownout let alone an actual blackout. Without the powergrid you dont even have water. Without water you die in two days.

When you decided that only the nationalists were at fault.

When you keep going back to the nationalists.

When you refuse to even hint that there was a Leftist group who traveled to the rally in order to engage in violence. There's a team out there doing that and you are following that team's playbook to a fault. Maybe you don;t see it that way, but trust I, and others, do and I will call you on it.

I blame the violence on the instigators and the Progressive mindset and polity that there are real enemies out there, real dangers coming from the right (all of it pretty much only in their imaginations and agitprop) and it is their obligation, duty and right to go fight them in the streets. We've seen this movie play out before and it

didn't

end

well.

Huh? Spittle.

Too funny. You are doing exactly what (I think) you are trying to say above.

That doesn't make any sense.

The only way to prove that the violence was intended on the part of the group that you target was for the group that you hold blameless not to show up. In the past, the police and the National Guard have simply surrounded these idiots, put up barricades to keep the counter protestors back, the nationalists did their little march, shouted their slogans and then meekly went home to go back in hiding lest their own neighbors kick their fucking asses.

This time, the Democrats worked hand-in-hand with Antifa and the Left to make god-damned sure there was violence as yet another tool in their war on white privilege and the symbol (to them) of that privilege, President Trump.

Unless, of course, incompetence on the part of the governor is the excuse...

The average person who rails against the white nationalists is more likely to be assaulted by a member of MS-13 (and their cousins in so many other gangs of the "undocumented") than they are to actually even meet a white nationalist yet they go out of their way to attack the former while giving sanctuary and a free pass across the border to the latter...

Fucking AMAZING!

You never heard of MS-13 until their leader's recent arrest.

There are two Confederate cannon sitting in the plaza in Old Town Albuquerque and a couple of vocal groups are demanding their removal on the grounds that they are symbols of slavery and oppression.

The facts are that those cannons were abandoned by the confederates as they dragged their ass out of the territory after having their asses kicked at the Battle of Glorieta Pass.

In the spring of 1862 a confederate column invaded New Mexico territory with the goal of reaching the mines in Trinidad CO. They were initially successful on their march up the Rio Grande but were stopped at Glorieta Pass just a little southeast of Santa Fe by a small contingent of Union troops and a group of hastily organized militia made up of miners from S. CO. The cannon are there as a symbol of the confederate defeat and retreat from the territory, but the revisionist just can't quite wrap their heads around that notion.

Remember who Terry McAuliffe is, an extreme left-wing, mudslinging, demagogue, who will do anything to march us right into the hell of his socialist Utopia.

White nationalism does not make sense when applied to the United States, because we are essential a mosaic of races. I wouldn't dare say a melting pot because so many people choose to self segregate themselves.

Damn any man who sympathizes with Indians! ... I have come to kill Indians, and believe it is right and honorable to use any means under God's heaven to kill Indians. ... Kill and scalp all, big and little; nits make lice.
— Col. John Milton Chivington
Union Army 186~

Back in Denver after the defeat of the Confederacy's Western forces, Chivington seemed destined for even greater prominence. He was a leading advocate of quick statehood for Colorado, and the likely Republican candidate for the state's first Congressional seat. In the midst of his blossoming political prospects, tensions between Colorado's burgeoning white population and the Cheyenne Indians reached a feverish pitch. The Denver newspaper printed a front-page editorial advocating the "extermination of the red devils" and urging its readers to "take a few months off and dedicate that time to wiping out the Indians."

Chivington took advantage of this dangerous public mood by blasting the territorial governor and others who counseled peace and treaty-making with the Cheyenne. In August of 1864, he declared that "the Cheyennes will have to be roundly whipped -- or completely wiped out -- before they will be quiet. I say that if any of them are caught in your vicinity, the only thing to do is kill them." A month later, while addressing a gathering of church deacons, he dismissed the possibility of making a treaty with the Cheyenne: "It simply is not possible for Indians to obey or even understand any treaty. I am fully satisfied, gentlemen, that to kill them is the only way we will ever have peace and quiet in Colorado."

We've come a long way Baby ....

... Oh wait .....

What does this have to do with the act of terrorism committed against America at a Nazi rally?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...st-FIRED-Twitter-names-shames-protesters.html

As the reverberations of that deadly assault continued to be felt on Sunday, Twitter user Yes, You're Racist began naming and shaming those who were photographed waving torches and allying themselves with violent far-right extremists.

The first of those was Cole White, who has now been fired by Berkeley's Top Dog restaurant as a result.

White was one of thousands who gathered for the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville on Saturday - and one of many identified online.

This outrage isnt anything BUT a pretext to attack Trump and us

Oh, look more graphs and charts which are then immediately disproven by the photos...

Roof was nuts. Period.

Timmy was anti-government.

In short, without the raw data, the chart is easily manipulated for a political purpose in order to make an impression on uniformed, but very confident, minds to prove a fact that they "know" is true, sans any real scholarship or research other than, LOOK AT THE GARPHS AND CHARTS A_J!!!

Between BLM and Antifa, since Ferguson, there have been ten acts of violence (domestic terrorism, as it is now being referred as) on the part of the Left. You got a chart for that?

That doesn't even include the shooter and assaults on other conservative politicians and the gathering to shut down their free speech. And what you counter with?

A fucking chart.

Indeed. The fallacy of applying the exception to the rule.

Attack Trump and us? I always suspected that you were an Ashke-Nazi.

I will add this observation, if you do not want to empower fringe lunatics, ignore them, don't protest them. If they had not gotten the undue attention driven by hate and intolerance then they would have assembled peacefully, had their little rally and that would have been that. But I believe the Left wanted a confrontation, wanted violence, wanted to be provocative and wanted violence to lend legitimacy to their war against "white privilege."

The history of "ignore Nazis and they will just go away" is not especially encouraging.
