So i got this Basswood tree in my front yard..

Beautiful tree, grows tall and throws a lot of shade. But the fucking thing drops so much crap all year round. Flower fluff in the spring, helicopter leaves all summer. Not to mention it spits tiny droplets of sap! Which make a mess of my car.

My overall opinion; Fuck basswood trees. (And i can't cut it down either because it's past the sidewalk and owned by the city.) Pain in the ass...

Meet the golden rain tree. It is a menace. It doesn't have the sap issue - it's only "redeeming" feature in comparison. However it sheds crap all year long and sends seedlings every-freakin'-where.

My girl might like this tree, she's into the golden rain.

But seriously, the seed thing i can atest to, we have a tulip tree in the back yard and any unflowered bulbs drop on the lawn and i either pick them up or mulch them up in the mower.

The seedlings aren't difficult to pick thankfully, but one does have to stay on top of them else they'll grow quick.
