I'm not a Nazi apologist. I am a defender of the Constitution, especially the First Amendment, which guarantees free speech and assemblage. Like it or not, Nazis and KKK members are not excluded from that.

No. The First Amendment guarantees freedom of speech and assembly for Nazis, the KKK and everybody else in the USA, even when what is said is hate speech.
The Nazis and KKK had a right to hold a rally in VA in order to air what they considered a grievance. That right was violated when they were attacked by a mob of counter-demonstrators.
The Nazis were formed in Germany. The KKK was started by Democrats in the USA.

Just the point I'd have made, so I'll switch to another. For quite awhile we've known that "free speech doesn't include shouting FIRE! in a crowded theatre" and that libel, slander, death threats, and inciting riot aren't protected either. Free speech isn't absolute.
The First protects one's right to shout bloody nonsense in public, and to be shouted down. In practice, speech is too-often channeled and muted, as in fenced-off "free speech zones" on the outskirts of political gatherings. And the First doesn't apply to non-public platforms... like privately-owned LIT.
Practice responsible speech. Don't be surprised if someone you sling racial slurs at kicks your ass.
