Depends on the nature of the accident, I suppose.

Unless it's somehow significant that the brother is exactly 16, you might consider leaving out any mention of a specific age.

If there's no sexual activity involving the sixteen-year-old connotation, it's fine.

That's fine, but since Laurel skims and sometimes doesn't catch the context for under-age characters, I'd recommend mentioning it in a note: "The sixteen-year-old brother isn't involved in any of the sex" or something like that.

This will work, but leaving out ages saves a lot of confusion. You can mention a younger brother without giving numbers.

How long do you intend to keep griping about this issue?
Forever. Snowy is obsessed with coating LIT stories with underage sex. Private site ==> owner's rules ==> Snowy doesn't like ==> tough. Yes, young people exist on LIT and their sexual experiences may be reported but not described. Is that so hard?

For the purposes of this site; you're damned right.
So please, snowy, buckle up and get used to the idea.

Well, no, which is the point. The OP got a proper answer. You can have the characters in your story; they just can't engage in described sexual activity in your story. Snowy countered this with disinformation, which isn't the least bit helpful (or true).

Hmmm. Moderators can mention the names of other story sites but when other posters mention them, the names are erased?

I've seen many people post that name before.

So have I. The last time I saw it posted to the AH, the moderator erased it--even though the question was about placing a story that doesn't meet Lit. requirements, so it wasn't a competing Web site in that situation.

You can report any post that breaks a Lit guideline. Mods are no different than anyone else, as you already know. :)

Yep, they are. Mere mortals can't put them on ignore. And there are times when some of them deserve it.

There, see? AH_Mod censored me even though I didn't post a URL/link. There's your answer Pilot.
