A woman your age taking prednisone...?... if that's not a sign you need to change jobs, i don't know what is.

Actually that is kind of true. Happened on the job. The funny part is,my boss and I have removed 8 person hot tubs, I bend over to pick up bricks ... fucking bricks which are nothing for me, and I was on my knees

The dr did not give me direct directions. I am to take 60 mg every day at the same time, my pharmacist strongly recommended on the last day two and the next day three to wean off.Never been on steroids but i trust my pharmacist

My only experience with it always involves four or five-day supplies that start with a maximum dosage and taper down to one pill.

You've got to wean off that drug or you will whiplash back worse than before. 60mg is the maximum adult dosage. Did he tell you for best results take it literally the first thing in the morning? You lose potency each hour after being awake. And the pharmacist should have given you a "taper pack", taking you down by half each day (60/30/15/7.5/5/2.5)

You're absolutely correct about mood swings and sunburn.
it's a "mood enhancer" (i.e. happy feelings becoming ecstatic, sad feelings becoming major depression bouts, anger becoming rages, etc) and you will definitely fry out in the sun even with sunscreen.

I don't take anything. Many years ago I did have a script for prednisone for 10 days. Hated the stuff. Horrible cotton mouth and made me super jittery.
