Not that anyone here reads my thread but.....

My dad is doing fine. I was able to get him new glasses for free because they were still under warranty. He's doing alright considering. He's slowly getting worse. He's giving the Grim Reaper two middle fingers everyday.

My dad is doing just fine. They're taking good care of him.

Just got in touch with my uncle and cousin. We had a nice conversation and I'm going to try to keep in touch. Hopefully they'll visit my dad soon. I'm sure my dad will be glad to see his brother after all this time.

When I was visiting my Dad, we were being silly. He kept trying to undo the breaks on his chair and I kept putting them back on. In the midst of doing this, my Dad pokes me with his thumb nail.
I pointed out what he did and pretended I was hurt. Out of no where he says, " You're a fucking sissy." I am not kidding! I started laughing so hard.
It was just too damned funny for him to suddenly swear like that!

I did get him to go outside today to get some sun. Always a plus on my visits.

It was a nice visit.

Well I dont know you or anything about your situation with your Dad as I'm rather new, but whatever it is. Sounds like things are looking up for him, sounds like good news...
Cherish those times.. One day, ( not sure how old you are ) your parents will be gone and you will miss them.. Alot, and it never goes away..
These are things I learned along the rocky path of life.

My boyfriend and I were staying in a very thin-walled motel once,and we could hear the couple in the next room. There was a man's voice moaning very loudly. The moans kept getting more and more intense, then, all of a sudden, there was silence. A second or two later, we heard a woman's voice, laughing hysterically.

I really wanted to go knock on the door and ask her what she had done to the guy, but my boyfriend wouldn't let me.
