So, why did Trump get elected? I think there were several reasons, but the main one is that so many people saw it as a choice between him and Silly Hilly and decided Trump was less bad.

There is an ugly, visceral hatred burning inside of me that cuts to the bone. I do not respect or even like them.

If I see one of those old yokels with those stupid looking MAGA hats, I have the sudden urge to put my foot up their ass but I control it as I am not a violent person.

If someone tells me that they voted for him, they are CANCELLED out of my life. I do not even want to be friends with that person.

My brother is a 57 year old white man and he feels exactly the way you do. He sees one of those hats and it like waving a red cape in front of a bull. He immediately goes into fight mode. He loathes Trump, all his supporters, and any one who posts anything supportive of him.
