The way Planned Parenthood here go about it, it is. I wouldn't go as far as sweatymango, I think there are circumstances where abortion is justified, but I also think the liberalization of abortion has gone way to far.

When baby body parts are treated as commodities, that's just evil. Babies are human beings. not just some cells to be carved up and vacuumed out. With late term abortions, some of these babies are capable of surviving on their own when they're aborted and sliced up for parts and that is very definitely murder.

It's all very well being pro-life for unborn babies but if the state is going to restrict women's choice in this then they have a continuing duty of care in my view. There will be more babies with severe disabilities as a result of this, yet I understand Obamacare is being targeted by billionaire Trump. If a woman has been forced to have a child she doesn't want and can't provide for, why is she then labelled a deadbeat mother? If the father blocks the termination, he should be signing a legal document committing to provide for that kid until it's 21. Men can't have their cake and eat it too every fucking time. I'm not getting into religion or ethics, because I'm atheist but as one of my gay friends says, "Telling me I can't get married because you're homophobic is like telling me I can't have cake because you're on a diet." Men are rarely the primary care givers - if they stick around at all - and their careers and education aren't tossed out the window or put on hold. If a woman wants to have a first trimester termination for whatever reason she likes, that's her body and her decision. In my view it's a much better option than unwanted, unloved, neglected and resented children, children living in poverty and in families too large for their finances. Children born to teenager, addicts and mentally/emotionally unstable; any woman really who is fundamentally inequipped to be a parent. America is in danger of veering into the same territory as Latin America, where huge families live in abject squalor. The wealth divide is bad enough without compounding it with shit like this.

outside of having to get permission from rapists to abort rape babies, this new chest nut of a law has additional goodies

like the needing the permission form the father part, because this will magically guarantee all fathers will provide for thier children and they themselves will also magically get pregnant

like, if the woman wanting the abortion is minor, it will now need the parents permission . Yes, I called the girl " it" because apparently it isnt a person anymore

the fetus carrying device formerly known as a woman must now wait 48 hours once given permission from the mennfolks and receive counslelling

this counseling will include...." informed consent" which is already an Arkansas law , which says the fetus incubator must be given medically incorrect information before making a decision, assuming the human growing biomachine is allowed to make a decision
