Had an interesting experience he other day at the super store. I was buying groceries and got in a checkout line behind a pleasant looking lady in her thirties. While she waited for the older couple in front of her, she put her items on the conveyor belt, some makeup, some clothing items, etc, just a small amount, and then right on a top a nice looking white bra with formed cups. I couldn't help see the size tag....36C. I took another look at the lady, and she was a 32B maximum..no way a 36C. So was the bra for her teen age daughter, or what. She certainly didn't mind that I saw her purchase, and we exchanged polite smiles as she left.

Who do you think the bra was for.

I'd suspect if her daughter was a 36C, she'd also be big enough to buy her own bras. Until a woman is naked, you can get a hint of how big she MIGHT be, but there can always be somewhat more (or less) than meets the clothed eye. I'd guess she may have been somewhat strapped down, and knew what size she needed to be a comfortable fit.

I used to think I was pretty good at "sizing up" a pair of tits, but that was when I and the owners of the pairs were much younger. Now, I'm not so sure.

Check out the clothes on / clothes off thread on this bulletin board. I'm amazed by how much bigger many of the ladies are than they appeared when clothed.

And I dated a hugely busty gal in college and depending on what she was wearing, she could stop traffic or walk by without drawing a glance.

Many women have told me that the sizes on bras are largely fiction ... you can buy one 36 B bra a that fits well, and another that doesn't even come close ... same store, different manufacturer.

Or she might have found that this particular brand and size fitted her well, once she washed it a few times to shrink it.

Or it might have been for her mother. Or any person who for one reason or another can't shop for herself.

That's true, although the jump from 32B to 36C is pretty big. I think it's a case of what Strongmaster 7 said... the bra was cut in such a way as to flatten the bosom and minimize the size. In addition, what she was wearing at the time makes a real difference in how she appears.

I used to think I was a C - turns out I'm a G. Until we get professionally fitted, many of us women are clueless as well. (Maybe I'm just *extra* clueless; C to G is a big leap. In my defense, part of that is side boob.)
