Why has the GOP Repeal and Replace that went to Obama's desk not put on Trump's desk?

Any thoughts on that from the GB's RWCJ and acolytes?

Seven long years of complaints and breast beating and shouting and holding other legislative efforts hostage and promises of "Day One" repeal and here we are. How many votes? How many promises?

A bill went to Obama's desk. So why isn't that bill already law?

Well?

Because it was safe to posture when they knew they had no chance in hell.

Now there are consequences for their actions.

I know... go fig right??

Except they've been yapping on about it so long now they have a very real problem in front of them. They are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

Guppies could fume and fulminate for years, so long as they knew they had no chance. They never expected to beat Hillary. They had no plan for success. They don't know how to succeed, whether trying or not. Guppies are the party of failure. Not that Dems are much better, but Dems ain't running things now. Guppies own their fuckups. Enjoy.

Most democrats and republicans work for the same 1%'ers, that's why no matter who's in office it's more of the same ol' shit. ;)

Because establishment Republicans have lied to their constituents and only voted for repeal knowing Obama would veto it. Now the piper will be paid.

Governing is hard. (Especially when you detest government.)

True. Except the Piper is being played by the Reaper and you're broke. Now what?

What republican government? One has to perform the acts of governance to actually be a government.

What we have now is, ironically, a republican government in name only.

The dog caught the car (that it thought it never would), can't let go, and gets thumped with every rotation of the wheels. But I'm sure Trump has a beautiful, winning plan for proceeding.

A healthy populace is a more productive, creative, hard-working, and happy populace.

Guppies seek an unhealthy, unproductive, uncreative, unhappy populace.

Sounds like a subversive Communist plot to me.

Because the vast majority of republicans and democrats are two sides of the same coin.

There are a few exceptions like Rand Paul. Not only did he want a clean repeal and replacement from the beginning, he wrote a replacement bill with the help of other politicians that were also doctors. One that didn't have all the bullshit that was in Obamacare and Trumpcare.

Paul also had the balls to vote no on Trumpcare since it was essentially the same as Obamacare.

We need more politicians with balls.

We need more politicians with balls.
No, we need many more with ovaries. But note that political courage, whether residing in testicles or ovaries, usually results in political suicide. Old, bold pols are as rare as old, bold pilots.

Old saying: The honest politician is one who stays bought. Oh, another saying, Sen Everett Dirkson's rules of political survival:

1. Get elected.
2. Stay elected.
3. Don't get mad; get even.

Pols who can't play the game don't accomplish much. Cf Bernie Sanders.
