We FOUND the COLLUSION!

I thought this article did a neat job of summarizing the possible conclusions, and the evidence that buttress them. Endorsed by Nate Silver (Twitter).

Edit: It's not a very recent article. May, 2017.

Excellent article. And only a few of those scenarios clearly paint a picture of illegality. And virtually no one here has the inclination, much less the will or discipline to seriously analyze and objectively consider the evidence and likelihood leading to the most rational conclusion.

It's all about what one already believes.

I'm moving my post from the Castrated Next Door's to here:

So.... If Jr released the emails, it's cos there's collusion in them, and he was dying for leftists to find out?

When are you people going to understand that any source of any dirt isn't important. It's like one saying: 'No! don't tell me Hillary lied to me, mishandled classified info, created a private server, deleted over 30k emails, put my soldiers at risk, got them killed, colluded to support isil, etc etc. No, don't tell me so that i may change my vote".

Who cares where the info came from? If i was Trump Jr, I'd say sure you're on, what do you got? i'd hand it over to the FBI either way, and use it on my dad's campaign too.

What seems to have happened was Julian Assange advised Junior to publish his emails anonymously through Wikileaks, to play defense against the NYT article(s). Junior, in his infinite wisdom, decided instead to release them over his Twitter account without legal consultation.

I'd have had a meeting with an ISIL operative, took the info, gave it to the FBI, and used it against my opponent.

And i'd not have given a rat's ass about what any lawyer may think. If that's illegal, then the law needs to be changed.

But everything we know about the meeting — from whom it involved to how it was set up to how it unfolded — is in line with what intelligence analysts would expect an overture in a Russian influence operation to look like. It bears all the hallmarks of a professionally planned, carefully orchestrated intelligence soft pitch designed to gauge receptivity, while leaving room for plausible deniability in case the approach is rejected. And the Trump campaign’s willingness to take the meeting — and, more important, its failure to report the episode to U.S. authorities — may have been exactly the green light Russia was looking for to launch a more aggressive phase of intervention in the U.S. election campaign.

Not a thread these days at Lit cannot exist unless the #NeverTrumpers make the discussion about Trump and the trolls go after anyone who won't accept that there is only one topic to talk about in the whole wide world that matters...

First brought up in this thread in post number 4. By one AJ VonHypocrite.

Trump Jr.’s Russia meeting sure sounds like a Russian intelligence operation

7 can be a lucky number.

Reminds me of the time the Avalanche defeated the Devils in 7 games to win the 2001 Stanley Cup.

I'm sure Avalanche fans still wear that Cup victory like a badge.

Each one is a victory badge. 2001 was sweeter than sugar.

Yet, he's right you know.

And it goes to prove how much hold the US media has on your minds.

You are a constant mirror of it.

Nah, he ain't right about shit, he only knows about himself and his own world that he uses as a filter to look at reality outside of his ass. Then he comes here to sing and dance about it all, pretending he's above everything when he's just another schmuck in the grind lookin' in the internet for the next bit like everyone else. When he don't like it, his milk gets sour, like it just did here.

It's current news. In this fucking country. About the Cheetos fail running the show.

Y'all not personally liking the flow of the current because it isn't helping y'all swim in the stream the way y'all wanted to? Y'all not like people pulling your cards on your shit? Nobody else's problem except y'all's. :D

Might wanna get a ShamWow for Gump's tears after the tissues run out...the way things are going, reckon his irritable diaper rash is gonna get a lot worse in the weeks to come!

So nothing about Russian attempts to aid the administration in preventing our energy independence, but a lot of personal attacks on me...

Well, if that's all you got, I guess it's all you got.

Sucks to be you.

Your reply in fact proves my point and his.

My comments were on your reply to his:

On this point, he is correct, and I supported. In fact, I have been hammering his ass that he's only reading american thinker and has is out of touch on a global scale.

His comments, on the rest of u'all, that everything everyday is solely focused on the 'nothing trump' idea, is the point, and is correct.

One proof? Ur reply. Way out of focus to even notice; the nothing trump trend; coz ur in it.

You are overly sure about the current being so good, and relieving, etc. that you find anyone criticizing it as some dazed and confused, obsessed with his own views, etc. when it is entirely the opposite.

As dissected as i could hoping u didn't need lenses. :D

^ Poster child for cognitive dissonance.

I read a lot more than American Thinker.

I read NRO which has been batshit crazy against Trump from Day 1. You should have read some of the articles by Kevin D. Williamson that would make even Maxine Waters blush.

I spend a lot of time at Reason.com and even more at Mises.com, but it only seems to be AT that really gets the loyal #resistance really roiled.

Think about it for ten minutes. If they are that ineffective in delivering a message...

;) ;)

Why all the consternation?

To everything troll, troll troll...

This is the season to troll, troll, troll

We're going to undo November, we swear to heaven!

(But we don't fucking believe in Heaven, that's just Trump voters.)

Wears it like a vadge.
