Get Well StarryNightin64

Here's the news:
Where I am good, I am really good & where I am bad... I am still better then they expected. They are still concerned about the continued pain escalating with my activity levels but with as much work as he did this time it's to be expected. When I am good / grounded at home I'm on only 2 pain meds a day. With driving, walking , anything that moves the shoulder then the meds go up. BUT I am still on MUCH lower amounts & kinds of meds then other normal people with a file like mine. So I may look strange but the KT Tape, acupuncture needles & cupping all help.

Getting ready for round #3 of this PT post surgery stuff.

Honestly I look back on the past year and don't know how I did it without my friends mainly here on Lit & Facebook and some in real life. The whole sorting, packing, and then knowing I was having to move but had no where to go & no money to move. Then needing another surgery because they fixed me like a normal person and didn't take my soft tissue disease into consideration.

This past year has been like living my own version of Ground Hogs Day.

I just want you all to know how grateful I am each of you are there

W00T W00T!!!

All 4 doctors are happy after this round of evals. In 2 weeks I'll start round #3 of PT post this surgery. But the great news is they all decided they've never seen me look this good... As in like a normal person looks. We're still shifting my shoulders and neck into place but it's looking so good that we can see a huge difference just by sight.

I still get tired pretty easily but I'm pushing the line where I can to keep building things back up. July 4th I walked more then I have since the last 2 surgeries and I'm still sore but as long as I watch my shoulders and too much movement then I can start to work my legs back up.

Thank You everyone.  :rose:

It's nice to post some real good news for once. I keep waiting to see about getting pulled into a real horse & pony show for the new procedures they did to rebuild me this time. Last time was a biggie but compared to this one not as big a deal. I'm waiting for a call at some point where they will ask permission to put me in a medical journal or at a conference on the rebuild jobs.

OOOOOO Honey I have no choice.
The ortho laughed cause the PT Doc still won't let me do any PT at home. I am so locked down it's not funny. No one wants me to go for another surgery. I am feeling well enough I am bored which is dangerous territory so I am looking at the smaller stuff I have here to pull out to maybe try painting again.

Well here's the newest update.

The newest steps in PT world is 6 weeks of working on both shoulders and my neck. Man this first week has been hard. Usually mornings are my good time but I'm waking up feeling like a bobble head and really hurting. I've also been working out at the little cemetery here in my area with a team of other people trying to get hurricane debris cleared up. This is a small cemetery from the old Jim Crow days. Anyone who wasn't white is buried here. Asians, Latina, Native Americans, as well as African Americans are here. There's a core of about 6 people here consistently. 5 of us women and 3 of us are handicapped. We are slow but still pushing to keep things rolling.

I am finally able to try painting again which is good. My laptop fried so I need to save up to get it replaced. I'm having to be slow and take a few breaks because holding my arms up higher then I'm used to even on the smaller items hurts.

Did I forget anything?? I know my Lit family check up on me and I appreciate that so much.

Any Litsters buried there?

I need to set up the new laptop. Mine fried and one of my team got me a new used one and is going to let me pay him back so I don't have to save & save first to get back to work support wise. I just started painting this past weekend which is slow due to building up muscles. But I'll be able to sell a few pieces and then pay for the laptop.
