Canada's deal with the EU is being held up over a cheese quota row. The internal CFTA is being implemented although their is a long list of exemptions. Beer seems one of them.
 
Fake news.

The US has nothing to do with trade between the EU and Japan. We aren't part of either the EU or Japan. And, if Japan wants to increase it's trade with the EU to it's detriment, the US won't stop them from agreeing to mutual economic suicide.

The whole thing is being touted as some sort of stab in the eye to Trump when the US is not involved at all. Nor should we be.
