I saw his holiday speech today. It was sponsored by a Baptist Church. The reverent, a creepy Crypt Keeper looking guy, did Trumps introduction, implying that God made him President:rolleyes:. If he is one of those nut bags, I find that disturbing being LGBT and a Free Thinker. Much like the cobra and mongoose, fanatical Christians are my natural nemesis.

No, but a lot of his base is.

From you perspective, I understand your consternation with that community, but I can also see their perspective and they feel your community is using government to persecute them, so I see it as a push. That's why they voted for Trump, they felt that he was not inclined to be a traditional politician who bowed towards one group to the detriment of another, and not only that, but with great pride in their openness and tolerance for the one community.

As far as Trump, he probably has a sense of religiosity, but it does not drive him. I think that what we see is Machiavelli's observation that the Prince need not be religious but he must project the image of religiosity.

Trump puts on his religious suit when it serves him.

Keep the Good Lord on standby for weddings, funerals, and forgiveness.

He never was until he ran. He also was pro choice. He always was a bloated narcissistic ass except now it is magnified!

Another very good reason for the GB progressives to hate him. :)

He's an idiot. A buffoon. A double ended blowhard. A jackass.

Claiming to LGBT seems kinda vague...like saying I'm eastern European. :)

No but he knows his voters are so he uses that to his advantage. Instead of alienating Christians he appeals to them and he picks up a lot of support for doing so.

Except for the fact that Christians aren't being persecuted by the government at all.

And Trump is the farthest thing from religious that there is. When all you care about is belief over facts, it is easier to buy into his lies.

He prefers pussy grabbin' over bible thumpin' though.

And that is one of the big mistakes the Progressives in trying to win electorally in regions outside of their concentrated strongholds. Look, beginning with Obama, they ran on things like antipathy, deplorability and an assault on energy jobs and by inference industry itself when it came to pollution, greed and political donations.

Hey...at least he isn't a secret Koran (sp) thumper like the last guy. :)

A Bible would explode into flames if he touches it.

His base are fake Christians because no true Christian would support him. They just worship money. They think they can act all mean and sin but once they pray to Geezus all will be forgiven. They don't really follow the teachings Christ.

Religious fanatics of any kind are the natural enemies of everybody.

you're talking to a degenerate moron. you might want to use smaller words or, you know, just not bother.

This is true.

Re-realizing that it's a holiday weekend and if you must run in circles with others, you should do it in a backyard pool.
