The only group that would be that ball park would be some self-declared Christians. Unlike Islam, which has always been a religion of aggression and murder, Christianity really was a religion of peace at its onset. This changed, with the numerous religious wars in Europe and the conquest of the Western Hemisphere under the banner of Christianity. I am not including The Crusades against Islam. which were a matter of self-defense, rather than aggression.

Currently, there are atrocities committed in the name of Jesus, but they are not as bad as those committed by Muslims. Some self-style Christian might blow up an abortion clinic or murder a doctor who performs abortions, but these are targeted acts. That doesn't make them alright, but such foulness doesn't come close to hijacking airplanes and flying them into skyscrapers or planting nail bombs in Times Square or any other mass murders done or attempted by Muslims. Other faiths don't even come close to these two.

Muslims not worshiping Mohammed would be better compared to Buddha actually because while both claimed to merely be teachers and official theology does not worship them many adherents actually do.

There is a thin line between "revere" and "worship," and the prophet is so revered by some Muslims as to constitute worship.

I have never described the pope as being a prophet, nor would I ever do so. What I said is that the pope is considered by some Christians to be infallible, just as Mohammed is considered by Muslims to be infallible. That's really the only comparison between the two men.

There is no hate, whatsoever in my Post 10, not even animosity. All I did was quote a news service and respond to your earlier query. There is no flat statement that the man is Muslim, but the info included certainly strongly suggests that.
