I've wounded you so much that you had to create a split-personality for me.
Ahahahahahahahaha!
Yeah, you're stable.
Good choice, Fermi!
You live vicariously through people who you hate.
She wins.
You live vicariously through challenged people who you ass-smooch.
Nobody wins.
You're about to fly halfway across the country to fuck a GB troll with multiple attack alts...and you have the nerve to type this shit?
You're being had.
Who is angry and bitter?
Have a trolltastic day, Lance.![]()
... Earthquakes and property damage.
What will happen is that there will be more people, unemployed and destitute who will be humping and reproducing like rabbits because they don't have anything else to do.
Which may ultimately lead to less people because the machines will be culling the infestation. Even if only by attrition, since machines don't need food, so agriculture and associated industries will die off. Machines will be buying from machines.
You live vicariously through people who you hate.
I can't wait till luk starts posting about how many times you sucked his cock.
I'm having a great time!
This is going to be good!
She wins.
She wins.
You are self-identifying as "she?"
I did not see that coming. Congrats.
We know better.
And by next week, so will she.
Can't wait!
You're such a weird little man.
Maybe I would have, when I was younger and I used to conceive time as linear. Some of our western concepts are so demoralising.
Trying to see History and and one's life path through the prism of time as a spiral is more rewarding.
No, not at all. First off Stalin and Mao were a return to the past. All Socialism is. As far as Science goes not only is it not settled but Science drives technology and technology, when left alone has developed cleaner energy sources. Take fracking which is producing cleaner-burning gas in great volume (and with abundant reserves) at a low cost.
Your last sentence is on the borderline of an ad hominem attack that has no place in a polite discussion. It would be very hard to argue against all tangible evidence, to wit, the great standard of living that we enjoy should end because Capitalism is some sort of great harm to the planet. Capitalism does not "destroy" its competition, it is just that the inefficiencies of the schemes to reign it in become apparent whenever they are applied. When you replace Capitalism with something like the recent Venezuelan experiment in government by Social Justice the you destroy wealth and you environment gets dirty and the people get poorer and lose their quality of life.
If you believe you'll manage to have this percolate without my clarifying the 'not supposed to be' part, i'd be grateful.
It's a subject best deduced by each individual for themselves.
This thread was way better when we were talking about me.
Interesting perspective. I'm not sure that even if time were circular, that would erase regret.

There are some who claim that since the French Revolution and postEnlightenment, our western culture took a too radical turn towards a cult of Rationality. Unlike other Eastern cultures.
--- The concept of time as being linear can be viewed in that way.
It claims that once gone, the past can't be recaptured, leading to concepts such as "need to accept personal responsibility" or "to act in a rational manner", and to regret and self- blame.
Concepts which are unhelpful, because life "happens" to most of us, and there's no such thing as a perfectly rational person.
Despite his faults, Plato's time as a spiral challenges those views. Nothing new when one views history in that way, since things repeat themselves.
--- But starting to view my own life trajectory and personal evolution in that way helped me stay positive and to move forward, instead of regretting ageing or unfullfilled dreams.
Seeing myself as going through similar circles of lived experiences, but at a higher level due to my accumulated wisdom.
I will probably regret not being more trusting
If anything, I will have the opposite regret.
