Remember when Russian jets were flying really close to our jets and ships? Remember when Russian subs were sitting off the coast of New England? Remember when people were in an uproar at then president Obama for letting all of the above happen?

On Monday, a Russian Su-27 fighter jet flew within five feet of a U.S. reconnaissance plane over the Baltic Sea. The encounter was considered to be "unsafe" by U.S. officials.

Since the con artist assumed power, there have been multiple such encounters as well as Russian ships and subs lurking off both U.S. coasts. The first incident took place on February 14th when multiple Russian jets buzzed a U.S. guided missile destroyer in the Black Sea.

This was the same day a Russian spy ship was located off the East coast.

Last month, a Russian jet came with twenty feet of a U.S. Navy P-8A Poseidon aircraft over the Baltic Sea.

Then there were the intercepts of Russian bombers off the Alaskan coast (the one Sarah Palin can see Russia from) in April.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/04/18/us-jets-intercept-russian-bombers-coast-alaska/

In not one instance has either the con artist or anyone from the Republican party raised their voice in either concern or consternation. Nor have any of the uneducated deplorables, the ones who previously whined and moaned the loudest at such encounters, said anything.

From all appearances, no one cares. It's as if a light switch was turned off once the Russian-enabled con artist took office.

I heard Russian people live outside of Russia. No wonder there are so many terrorists attacks!

So let me get this straight. This sort of thing has been going on for at least 35 years or more and no one really says much about it. Yet, when it happens on Trump's watch it's suddenly a big deal?

Being a little disingenuous aren't you?

You have it in reverse.

You're missing the point. Probably deliberately.

Those opposed to Obama criticised him for these things when they happened on his watch, accused him of treason, going soft on the Russians and so on.

The OP is simply pointing out that the Obama critics have gone quiet now the same things are happening under Trump's watch.

The true lesson here is that trumptards are hypocrites.

The powers that be in the mil are waiting for the inevitable accident due to these stupid stunts.

Once it happens there will be an official communique to Russia that any aircraft within a certain X distance of US mil forces will be considered hostile and appropriate action will be taken.

At that point the stunts will stop though Russia will be all indignant over the declaration.

Hey! We've all seen "top gun". Tom cruise will save the day.

Cruise is a has-been. A fighter jock is too old by 30. Reflex speed gets too slow to be effective in combat.

Russia is trying to antagonize the US to see who blinks first. But, Russian pilots are being told to do things they will not be able to sustain safely. Eventually one of them will make that fatal mistake. And someone will die.

The US has shot down a Syrian Fighter Jet. We're shooting down Iranian drones. These actions amount to a lot more than a 'shrug'.

If you're looking for a stunts, we've had eight years of 'red lines' and 'smart power' that did precisely nothing, while Putin invaded countries, and did whatever he wanted in the middle east.

And the con artist with his collusion with Russia will do exactly to correct the same?

And the con artist with his collusion with Russia will do exactly [what] to correct the same?

You would do better in a debate to drop the derogatory names and stick with facts rather than hyperbole.

Trump will do what Trump will do. So far we have drones shot down and a missile strike in Syria. It seems to me that when it's time to act, Trump is getting the job done without talking about Red Lines.

con artist? Collusion with Russia? What do Obama and Hillary have to do with this? Why are you talking about them?
Obama and Hillary have nothing to do with the current situation in Syria, true.

That didn't stop the right-wingers on this board of accusing both of them for starting the Syrian Civil War. You can look it up.

Derogatory names? I didn't know stating a fact is now considered derogatory. His nickname in the 90s was Don the Con. That has carried over to now. Thus, it's a fact.

As to hyperbole, if he keeps claiming he and his campaign did not collude with Russia, why is he repeatedly trying to shut down and thwart every investigation into the collusion? Why is he going after the people doing the investigations, withholding information and anything else he can to not cooperate? If he's as innocent as he says, why not throw the doors open and get it over with?

Finally, shooting down a drone in Syria does nothing to help Ukraine eject Russian troops from its soil. Nor does taking out an amateur in the Syrian air force since, again, it does nothing to get Russia out of Ukraine, let alone out of Georgia, both of which is what you cited.

I guess those comments the con artist made about not getting involved in Syria don't apply, do they? Considering the U.S. is bombing civilians left and right, I don't hear you whining about that fact, but I'm sure you were all over Obama when the accidental bombing happened, weren't you?

Funny how facts prove the point when deflection is at hand.

But someone mentioned the con artist and collusion with Russia. It was obvious who they were talking about. And, I mean, why? They're both out and irrelevant.

Well, don't be ridiculous. No need to accuse. It's true. It was Obama that jump-started the whole Arab Spring thing, brought chaos, war and until deaths to Libya and Syria, and almost managed to do the same for Egypt.

Blah blah blah.

Calling someone a con artist is NOT using his 90's nickname. It's stating an unproven allegation in a derogatory manner to invoke a desired negative response.

The investigation into whether he tried to obstruct justice is just beginning, yet you tout it as a proven fact. Again, an attempt to invoke a desired negative response.

Trump's military actions as CIC are on record. The record speaks for itself whether you like where it is directed or not.

I am not the subject of this discussion. The things I believe are irrelevant to what Trump is doing. Nice try but you missed and failed.

There you go. Why look it up when you have it playing in your own head?

No no no no no. Derogatory names are here to stay. Hyperbole and facts go together very well and are not mutually exclusive. You trumptards would do better to read the writing on the wall and start planning on how you are going to cope with a fixed diet of humble pie.

The fact you started with blah blah blah to dismiss my well reasoned response can be just as easily dismissed with blah blah blah.

However, for the fun of it, remember all those folks, you included no doubt, who kept saying, with unproven facts but to invoke a desired negative response, that Obama wasn't a U.S. citizen? Something, it should be pointed out, the con artist has done very recently. Even after it was shown he was born in this country, and to this day, people still claim he was born in Kenya. Are you going to call them out?

As to the con artist's military action, he spent $60 million to bomb a bunch of buildings at a Syrian air base AFTER he told the Russians he was going to do it, thus insuring nothing of value was last except five days.

He's used a missile which cost at least $250K to shoot down a drone which cost a few thousand dollars, and took out a Syrian jet whose pilot I could have probably shot down if I had month's worth of training.

Let us not forget the slaughter of civilians he's causing in Iraq, the very same argument people whined Obama was doing but now remain abjectly silent on the subject.

You may not be the subject of the discussion, but your lousy attempts at defending a known con artist who has yet to keep a single promise he made, is. Tell me, when is he going to put Hillary in jail? How about making Mexico pay for the wall? Did he deport millions of illegals in his first hour in office? How's his golf game going since he said he'd be too busy to go golfing? Or should we wait for his first day in office since that is when he said he'd repeal and replace Obamneycare? Maybe then he'll start draining the swamp instead of doing what he is doing now which is put people who made large campaign donations in charge of government agencies and packing lobbyists and Goldman Sachs employees into every nook and cranny.

I think that those Russian fighters are just playing and want to be friends. It's their way of say, hey guys, we're cool, drop the sanctions.

The problem is that your response was NOT "well reasoned". It was nothing but a baseless diatribe filled with hyperbole that attempted to deflect from the fact that you have NO FACTS to support your position and instead rely upon slurs, derogatory comments, and ad hominem attacks to try to cow or prevent anyone from responding.

Even this response is nothing but a deflection where you try to shift the subject to a comparison with Obama rather than actually make your point that Trump "shrugged" and "didn't care" that Russia buzzes our military forces.

Again, I am not the subject of the conversation. What I choose to do or not do is not proof of anything in this debate. Whether I support Trump or not is irrelevant. YOU made the premise and still have yet to support it beyond slander and ranting.

One last thing; Trump has been in office for approx 5 months and you STILL don't understand that HE DOESN'T WRITE THE LEGISLATION. Congress does. Until Congress sends him a bill he can do nothing. Vilifying him for the failure of Congress to come to consensus on a bill merely shows your bias rather than critical thinking skills. When Congress finally acts on his agenda, THEN he will sign the bills that repeal ObamaCare, lower taxes, uphold the laws on immigration, build the border wall, and so on.

ObamaCare, what's that? Did Obama create legislation or not?

There's a whiteboard in Steve Bannon's office. http://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?t=1424547 Lots of legislative goals there.

up.

Do you live on Uranus or something?

Obama sat on his hands with a thumb up his ass while Assad gassed his own people. Do you know what gas is and what it does?

Obama talked tough and kept saying Assad better not cross the red line. Guess what? He did, and what Obama did what he does best. Nothing. He had a big mouth and no balls.

The only line is the yellow one down his back where most people have a spine.

So you agree that Obama has nothing to do with the current situation in Syria, which is what I said.
