The Living Works of Art Challenge

After much delay, here are my ignudi poses. The album begins with the suggested Jeremiah and adds, as a bonus, the other pose from the "First Day of Creation" group on the ceiling, the Libyan Sybil (at least according to Wikipedia). I try to give the two poses a sunny, Mediterranian cast, befitting the Roman location. In looking at my renderings, though, I note that the originals show not only more muscular bodies, but much more relaxed poses. Of course, the reason, I realized, is that a contemporary model, unlike Michelangelo's models, would have to remain tensely on alert while nude in the chapel because a priest might start chasing him throughout the choir, nave, sacristy--wherever--for other than artistic or doctrinal reasons.

You did an excellent job with both of the poses you posted and the photo editing is very good.

These are wonderful glendale, I am not a priest, but I would chase you!

Oh yes, these I like, Mr G. Very Med. Very nicely posed. Do I have to take the priestly collar in order to be able to chase you, though, or can I just do it anyway?

Somehow the collar sounds like fun, so bring it along when you chase me.

Thank you for the compliments.

You don't have to be a priest. In fact, better if you're not. And by the way, if you or Numi are chasing me, I'm not really trying to get away.

Tali! Pssst, Tali! If we work together, we can get him cornered in the apse

I'll help keep the priests away, but don't you have to go to church first? Love the look anywhere though.

I adore how relaxed he looks in these pictures, Ms G. It's a great testament to your skills at making him feel comfortable in front of the lens...

These are great. I like the filtering. I appreciate the ambition of attempting more than one pose, too.

Deal!! *shakes hand* :D

I think my apse is grapse.

I won't take much credit for accuracy, but I appreciate the compliments.

Thanks, and the second pose wasn't that ambitious. You know, already naked, camera right there....

Thank you, but not much of a skill really. Just pressing the button on the camera. I like pressing his other buttons though.

Thanks lady :)

Two angles, nice to walk around this pose, like at the museum.

The more angles the merrier, I always say :p

Both poses are good and you look very at ease in each of them.

I was pretty comfortable :)
MMMM loving it..... so sexy, great job sweet sexy one.

If you and the others start chasing me, I might have to fake a sprained ankle to end the chase as early as possible.

And because I was so tardy with the last pose, I'll get the present challenge done now. I would guess that many looked at Tiberinus and first thought he had quite a huge........cornucopia. Rome gets quite an abundance from its river. Here in St. Louis, we sit at the confluence of two rivers, the Missouri and the Mississippi, but the river gods have not provided much from their stores to our Cardinals (another loss tonight to the Pirates). These gods each need to set aside his cornucopia and pick up a bat, thereby putting lightning in the Cardinal bats that they may smite the Pirates. Thus, my rendition of the two river gods: Missourinus and Mississippenis.

I like to take a dip in those rivers.

Missourinus and Mississippenis. Clever.

I'd already viewed some of he other examples of Tiberinus and noted the variations of pose. You interjected humor as you've done before and achieved positive results. Nicely done....keep on rolling....:)
