The 22nd Weak starts off with a bang!

Trump owes millions to banks lobbying the government

Financial disclosure documents released Friday by the Office of Government Ethics shed new light on President Trump’s finances, even as he refuses to release his tax returns. The documents show that Trump owes hundreds of millions of dollars to major financial institutions -- some with business before Trump’s administration.

According to section 8 of the disclosure documents, Trump lists liabilities with 10 creditors. The minimum amount he owes is $315 million. Based on the maximum amounts listed, he could owe more than half a billion dollars to the creditors.

Among Trump’s largest creditors is Deutsche Bank, which has faced requests from Democrats to explain its lending to Trump. Deutsche Bank earlier this month rejected that request.
Trump owes up to $25 million to UBS, according to the financial disclosures. UBS has also been lobbying in 2017 on Dodd-Frank as well as on “proposals to implement a financial transactions tax.”

Trump owes at least $50 million to a shadowy entity called Chicago Unit Acquisition, LLC. Trump’s financial disclosure says that one of his entities, DJT Holdings, owns Chicago Unit Acquisition. Mother Jones recently reported that the arrangement may mean that Trump’s businesses "could owe $50 million and possibly much more to one or more creditors that have not been disclosed to the public."

Trump is leveraged biggly! If the bottom falls out of the Real Estate market, he could be underwater, unless Putin helps him out.

Republicans are already placing their bets on who Pence will pick as his VP after Trump: report

According to an Axios report, the latest Republican “parlor game” focuses on who current Vice President Mike Pence would choose as his own VP should President Donald Trump be impeached.

Played in “the shadows of the Russia investigation,” this VP speculation game focuses on the desired “effect” each speculative vice president would have on the country.

The choice of Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan or Nikki Haley would result in a “return to normalcy,” while Bob Gates or John Boehner would help ease the “anxiety” created by Trump.

Picking Joe Biden or Michael Bloomberg, Axios noted, would “calm the country” by assuring them there would be no Trump-era status quo in the White House, whereas someone like Jeff Sessions, Rudy Giuliani or Newt Gingrich would “keep the spirit of America First Trumpism alive.”

Mike Huckabee would bolster Mikey's evangelical roots.

Let's not forget Sarah Palin. Remember, these are Republicans we are talking about.

Donald Trump has gathered his family together to go to Camp David for the weekend.

There they will lay siege to the compound until the following demands are met:
  • Confirm all pending appointees
  • Start the travel ban
  • Prosecute James Comey, Kathy Griffin, Mark Cuban and Rosie O'Donnell
  • Stop the Russia thing
  • On Father's Day, deliver the rest of the things on Trump's list that he didn't get on his birthday.

Camp David is a good, remote spot to have them camped out then. It's also very secure and his golf courses and Mar-a-logo aren't, which raises the possibility that he's getting a little scared since the congressional charity baseball game.

I was hoping his presidency would be more amusing. So far he's just "Reagan Lite".
I would say in 2020 we will get someone better but I know as long as people only vote for republicans and democrats it's not going to happen.

Well to be fair, y'all have a lifelong Democrat that ran as a 3rd party POTUS on the Republican ticket...

...hell a Ficus would be better than Hillary, so here's a cheers waiting for Trump to defund PBS and use the extra gov't cheese to buy out Twitter and ban whomever he wants.

When was the last POTUS that didn't start a 'war' in his 1st term? Trump is going to be the first since Carter.

Count me out’: Conservative staffers have no desire to work for ‘radioactive’ Trump administration

What is the half life of Trumpisim?

According to the Washington Post, many positions in President Donald Trump’s administration remain unfilled because potential staffers are turned off by the volatile nature of the current White House.

Although White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer claimed he has people “knocking down his door” to work for Trump, 27 sources who spoke to the Post tell a different story.

“Trump is becoming radioactive, and it’s accelerating,” Bill Valdez, former Energy Department official and advocate for a group of 6,000 federal leaders told the Post.

“If you’re working with a boss who doesn’t have your back, you have no confidence in working with that individual,” Valdez said, referencing reports that Attorney General Jeff Sessions drew the president’s ire when he recused himself from the Russia investigation.

The personnel situation is so bad that a group of conservative politicians penned a letter to White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus about the administration’s “leadership vacuum.”

The vacuum starts at the top!:(

Let's not forget Sarah Palin. Remember, these are Republicans we are talking about.

She's probably the most qualified woman for the task. She's miles better than anything from the democrat camp.

Pretty lame, please don't try again.

Chris Vickery, a risk analyst at cybersecurity firm UpGuard, said he found a spreadsheet of nearly 200 million Americans on a server run by Amazon's cloud hosting business that was left without a password or any other protection.

The server contained data from Deep Root Analytics, which created a database of information from a variety of sources including the Republican National Committee, one of the company's clients.

In all, the leaked files amount to more than 1,000 gigabytes of data — more than four times the size of any previous breach of this type, according to Vickery. The 46 data fields for each voter included views on specific issues including abortion, gun rights and environmental issues, he said. Overall, Vickery said, there were billions of data points and 170 GB of social media posts scraped from Reddit alone.

The detailed file does not stop at Trump supporters, but includes Democrats, independents and many voters in between, he said.

Fucking idiots... Even if you tried, it would be hard to screw up more than those idiots did.

But hey, as long as they didn't intend to do anything illegal, then there's no harm in what they did, right?
Trump once bragged up his 10-year-old son's computer skills. Maybe he'll be in line for the job.

Trump's plan is to start a war in Syria to deflect his bullshit domestically. How long is Pence going to wait to slap him with the 25th?

Russian jet buzzes US plane after Syrian drone downed

A Russian jet came within five feet of a U.S. reconnaissance plane near the Baltic Sea Tuesday after the military announced earlier that day it had shot down another aircraft belonging to the Moscow-backed Syrian government.

A Russian SU-27 "rapidly" approached a U.S. RC-135 reconnaissance plane and acted "provocatively" by performing "unsafe" maneuvers, two U.S. officials told Fox News. Russia's defense ministry, however, denied its forces were at fault and instead blamed the U.S. spy plane for "making a provocative turn towards the Su-27" while being escorted away from Russia's borders.

The problem is if he fucks around he'll have nukes thrown a fleet in the Baltic and the Med! Europe will go critical and Russia will level London, to end the British Banking threat.

New bombshell report reveals Trump’s lengthy ties to Russian mobsters and money laundering

A bombshell Bloomberg View report dropped Wednesday morning detailing President Donald Trump’s shadowy business partnerships with Russian investors on New York City real estate deals.

Rachel Maddow teased the report, which links the president to possible money laundering operations through his business associate Felix Sater — a mob informant and felon who has boasted of his ties to the Kremlin and Russian intelligence.

While special counsel Robert Mueller is looking into whether Trump obstructed justice in firing former FBI Director James Comey, the investigation into possible collusion between Trump’s campaign and Russia also continues. As The Washington Post reported last week, the investigation into Trump also involves tracking concerning financial activities. The New York Times went even further, saying that Mueller is looking into whether Trump associates laundered payoffs from Russians and funneled them through offshore accounts.

“It’s ridiculous that I wouldn’t be investing in Russia,” Trump said during a 2007 deposition. “Russia is one of the hottest places in the world for investment.”

“Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets,” Donald Trump Jr. said a year later.

In an interview, Kriss said competitors of the FL Group also asked to invest in Bayrock. He took the proposal to Sater and Arif, who told him that the money from Icelandic banks “was mostly Russian,” and that the group was forced to take FL’s funds for other deals with Trump because the firm was “closer to Putin.”

“I thought it was a lie or a joke when they said Putin,” Kriss remembers, though he doesn’t have financial records to prove it. “I didn’t know how to make sense of it at all.”

Of course Trump denies even knowing what Slater looks like.

Here’s why the Koch brothers have so much influence on Trump

Billionaire oil and gas magnates Charles and David Koch may not have supported President Donald Trump on the campaign trail, but the reality-star-turned-commander-in-chief is filling his senior White House official positions with people linked in some way to the brothers’ network: 70 percent of his filled senior White House official positions, to be exact.

That’s according to a new report from the Checks & Balances Project, which scrutinized the backgrounds of the 23 senior White House officials with “direct policy influence,” according to C&BP Executive Director Scott Peterson, and found that 16 of them have some link to the Koch brothers.

I believe the Koch Bros' have a few Russian contacts as well.

Trump golf club demands massive tax break from New York town — and wealthy locals are furious

The Trump Organization is making a case for its big tax break by claiming that the Trump National Golf Club is only worth $7.5 million, which is less than half the $15.1 million the town’s assessors claim it is worth.

ABC News notes that “this is the same course, spread over 143 acres in Westchester County, that presidential candidate Donald Trump listed on his publicly-filed financial disclosure report as being worth $50 million in 2016.”

Simple, give Trump Co. $8 Mill and send them away.

Of course Trump denies even knowing what Slater looks like.

"Deadline: White House" TV host & former Dubya staffer on "Seth" tonight compared the 2 Presidents, & said they didn't often have to tell Dubya about things that were going on.

I'm sorry, but any time I hear/read Trump says he doesn't know (fill in person/thing here), I believe it.

I still say (as I thought weeks ago about removing him from office) use it to our advantage! Replace him in Presidency... Move family into a decent-sized white house in DC while he is away/asleep/something, & he won't know the difference!

‘He’s their mother’: Psychoanalyst explains why Trump’s supporters are like children of an abused parent

President Donald Trump looked into the faces of coal miners and lied about bringing their jobs back. His promise to stop the opioid crisis has turned into proposed cuts to funding for rehab and methadone clinics. Instead of giving an extra bit of help to rural America, Trump’s budget proposes massive cuts to the Department of Agriculture and guts programs for rural families. Trump’s promise to help working families has turned into a tax cut for corporations and the one percent. Yet, somehow, Trump’s supports remain steadfast in their belief that he will fight for them.

Reporter Amanda Marcotte sat down with psychoanalyst Dr. Justin Frank to better understand why Trump supporters continue to support the president, even as he’s promoting policies that hurt them.

“The people who were Trump supporters were hungry,” Frank began. “When they started out they were hungry for something different, they were hungry for change, they were hungry and they needed something. And Trump seemed to provide them with that. And once you provide that for someone they are going to stay loyal to you regardless of what you do after that, unless you really turn your back on them.”

Trump takes credit for the idea of putting solar panels on a wall on the southern border.

Solar panels would need to face south to be effective, so they would be on the Mexico side. I wonder how quickly they'll disappear.

And in a tweet that reads suspiciously like a tweet written by a lawyer trying hard to sound like Trump he has denied the existence of any tapes.

Yeah! Right!

I'm sure they don't exist any more.
