Hairy chest for sure. It's the the difference between a man and a man.
Plus, the thought of running my hands across rough chest stubble is not so sexy.

Agreed: chest stubble is just not something I really want to experience on a man.

This is Jack's wife Kalinda, and I vote for hairy all the way, and a big flabby belly too!

I prefer a smooth chest, not shaven, just a man with little chest hair.
Reasons: it tickles, I outgrew sleeping with a hairy, stuffed animal years ago, holds body odor.
In my experience lack of hair has nothing to do with manliness.

As a man with a hairy chest I have to admit I'm liking the results of this poll so far

I like a hairy chest to run my fingers through and bury my face in.

I used to think a relatively smooth chest (naturally, not shaved) was more attractive as it showed muscle details better.

However, I have become a whole-hearted convert to the hairy chest for reasons others have mentioned here: very, very overtly manly. Seems like there must be a lot of testosterone flowing to grow all that fur. Grrrr.

However, chest hair or lack of would never be a deal breaker.

Maybe it was a fashionable thing or maybe it was my age but when I was younger women didn't like the fact I am very hairy. Now I'm into my 30s women seem to love the fact I'm a hairy beast!

Thank you. I'm heavily mixed with latin blood, so hair is not in my genes. Glad someone understands it doesn't detract from my levels of manly-testosterone-ness ;)

I don't think of a man as less manly because he naturally has little or no chest hair.
I just don't see the point in shaving chest hair off if you have it.

If you want to have your pecks look larger you shave the hair. that's why body builders have no body hair it makes muscle look smaller
