A federal judge ruled California's ten day waiting period was unconstitutional for those who have already been through it, but put he put a 180-day hold on his order to allow the state to adjust to the new ruling. I'll probably be the last dude to have to wait the ten ridiculous days.

I did see it and posted there. Talk about stupid gun control dig this. There's a list of handguns that are "safe" to sell in CA. If it isn't one the list you cannot buy it. The gun I wanted isn't on the list so it isn't available for me to buy. But a CHP officer I know informed me that being a cop he was able to buy one and did. He also told me it would be perfectly legal for him to sell that gun(through a dealer) to me, and because I bought it from him, I could legally own it in CA. So fucked up.

The mileage reimbursement showed up overnight, and the housemate got around to the rent yesterday, so it's almost like payday - only different.
