The housemate is up early. It probably has something to do with early morning poll openings. It's Primary Tuesday to see who we pick to replace Guv'nor Clintonista. How we got that asshole is still a who's who of asshattery and st000pidity. At least we won't get Joe Morrissey.

My Keurig spewing forth a cup of Caribou blend is quite good.:D
 
Even the inventor of the Keurig won't use it because it is too expensive.


We did have one in the hotel. It was nice, the coffee was good and it was free, well, at over $200 a night, I wouldn't exactly say "free..."
 
Finished at the shop and already home, the 4 am starts hurt but we miss the worst of the heat and I get an afternoon nap out of it.

I'm glad that political mess is all yours, your last presidential election won me 300 dollars in a bet though.

How is your housemate doing Wat? Still stressing you?

Just got glared at, I need to get the paperwork done I should have done yesterday. You guys do something news worry and share for those of us with limited lives.

We definitely have a political mess but like all things we'll cycle out of it and into something new before too long. Have a nice day going through that paperwork. I know what that's like.:)

I've had a couple of them. I think they are worth the money as they save money on coffee in the long run. The average American pays $2.70 for a cup of coffee:

Man did it get hot out there quick! Got a lot of weeding done, harvested green beans and snow peas. I got enough snow peas to go with today's stir fry and most of the green beans will get vacuum-packed and stored in the deep freeze.

Was digging out a pork steak to grill and dropped a pound of ground sausage on my toe. It is broken, black, blue and swollen like a mofo. I should have put ice on it, but I was hot to get some work done while it was cool...

She's dining on freshly (one) shot squirrel.

Little stupid got to it first, but she wasn't allowed to keep it long.

Oh well, she got some leftover gravy from the stir fry and the very thick juicy grilled pork steak.

There was fresh steamed jasmine rice too. :cool: I am stoked and ready for my siesta as soon as I finish my screwdriver.

My kids have expensive tastes, so we went to the "gourmet" Mexican place. It was decent and wasn't really all that expensive. They got to the restaurant early and had a couple of drinks and a few baskets of nachos-n-salsa, so they were a bit less hungry. I got a big burrito, and I have leftovers. The tacos were regular price.


If I had wanted cheaper, Taco Bell was within walking distance.


We get rain today, and the garden will be liking that. it's gotten a bit dry.

I've had alpha cat dynamics which made no sense to me but worked out okay for them.


Except that my big old Siamese boy was often confused by it. He was entirely too Zen for silly feline politix.


Speaking of which, I took a Repug ballot and picked the guy with (I think) the best chance to win. Looks like the Clintonista second in command gets the other slot for the mainstream parties. It would be nice to shoo them along.


Looks like the promised cold fron for tomorrow won't be anywhere near as cold as promised. I've been cheated!!! :mad:

Well, I got up, got my coffee and fired up the computer when the driveway alarm went off. Princess tried to quietly sneak in, but the Queen was waiting in ambush from her. Took her car keys from here. Let's see how that works out.

I stayed out of it. I told the Queen the other day, it's summer and as long as she's meeting her work obligations, I don't really give a shit if she's sitting up all night in a coffee shop with her little buddies.
 
She's a good kid, but the Queen hasn't yet learned to see the young adult living in her house, she still sees the little girl that needs a firm hand and guidance on the road to a good life.
 
I'm not going to dwell on it.



I know I can't talk to the Queen on the subject and I doubt if I can make any sense of it out to Princess. I might have to play taxi driver for a few days. Not looking forward to that blast from the past...
 
I know what you mean, I feel your pain, but you might get lucky and catch the baby in a Lucid Interval and 'plain some shit to her. Lucid meaning she can hear you, of course. That's tough at her age.


It's like the talk I'd like to have on my neighborhood forum, about how we need to write a fatwah and declare jihad on th dopers and dope houses or that this place will never amount to a dried turd on hard dirt in the summer sun. You know, shoot a couple of dealers, burn down a couple of dope houses . . . and nobody saw anything.
