We've always used the Sharpie markers for everything. Stay reasonably blur free on skin.
A warning, Dollie's tattooist used a fine point Sharpie to outline a tattoo on her foot. After the tattooing it became infected and came out crappy. Don't get the ink under skin. But it's fine for marking sandwhich bags.

I can say from experience that a Sharpie marker makes a good boobie marker.
I used to also like temprary tattoos.
