Where are the liberal foodies having hoedowns in the street?

Damn, I was hoping after Memorial Day that the temperature warming slam would cause people to have collective weekend cookouts, festivals, live music sessions and dancing in closed-off streets, sidewalks and block parties again like they usually do towards the end of May and after June begins. Everybody's probably just gearing up, should be patient.

I miss reveling in their celebration of life in summertime. It was so fun.
