White House in talks to name Reince Priebus as the ambassador to Greece: report

President Donald Trump is reportedly considering naming current Chief of Staff Reince Priebus as the next ambassador to Greece.

As the White House struggles to find its footing in the face of a mounting Russia probe, The Washington Post reported over the weekend that the president was considering a staff shake up.

According to the Post:

Underscoring the uncertainty of what lies ahead, some Trump associates said there have been conversations about dispatching Priebus to serve as ambassador to Greece — his mother is of Greek descent — as a face-saving way to remove him from the White House. A White House spokeswoman strongly denied that possibility Saturday.

Get as far away from White House as you can Reince, the fertilizer is on it's way to the ventilation system!

France’s Macron: Trump handshake was ‘not innocent’

France’s new president Emmanuel Macron described a white knuckle handshake in which he refused to relinquish his grip on U.S. president Donald Trump’s hand as “not innocent.”

In an interview with the Journal du Dimanche Sunday, the French leader said his interaction with the American head of state was “a moment of truth.”

“My handshake with him was not innocent. We need to show that we won’t make small concessions, even symbolic ones, while not overhyping things either,” Macron said.

He went on to compare Trump’s attitude to power with that of authoritarian strongmen President Vladimir Putin of Russia and Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey.:eek::eek:

“Donald Trump, the Turkish president or the Russian president believe in the logic of the trial of strength, which doesn’t bother me. I don’t believe in the diplomacy of public invective, but in my bilateral dialogues, I don’t let anything pass, that is how we are respected,” he said.

Donald Trump stands up for truth:

It is my opinion that many of the leaks coming out of the White House are fabricated lies," Trump tweeted

Oh, the irony.

Angela Markel: Germany can’t depend on Trump’s America

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has suggested Donald Trump has made it difficult for her country and others in Europe to depend on the U.S.

Speaking after the close of the G7 summit, which saw all the world leaders involved except Trump recommitting to the Paris climate deal, Merkel said the time to rely on others was “somewhat over.”

“We Europeans must really take our destiny into our own hands,” Merkel said at an event in Bavaria, in comments carried by The Independent.

However, Merkel added: “The times in which we can fully count on others are somewhat over, as I have experienced in the past few days.”

Once more Donald disappoints a woman.

The average Trumpkin is so ignorant of anything past the rifle rack on their pick up truck and their klan hood that they have no idea what it means that the entire world is beginning to distance themselves from us.

Well except for Saudi the country that the right hated and said Obama and Clinto were bowing down to, but now love because Donnie loves them.

Yeah LC, I thought you wanted a "Destroyer of the Current Political Order"?

Which I took as a repudiation of the Eastern Establishment's machine Politics?

Or were you like me faced with the "Lesser of Two Eviels" I folded and voted for Silly Hilly because I feared the stress that Trump will/has put on our fragile hold on the power of the Moneyed Classes.

Forcing Congress to choose between the Mob or Responsibility for the "General Welfare of the People?"

Which way will that turn out? How much can the "Dark State" influence events with the Courts packed?

Trump is an expendable asset to his handlers. If he goes down in the flames of a collapse of the American hold on International Power, "Sin Loy Mother Fucker" :)

Ooh! Ambassador to Greece! Now there is a good career move. :D

You sound like a snowflake’: Internet blasts ‘poor baby’ Trump for Sunday night meltdown

President Donald Trump is back in the United States, which means his favorite American past time has been reactivated: illogical Twitter meltdowns. First thing Sunday morning he had a short one, but it resurfaced Sunday night as Trump attempted to sell his policies that are quickly losing steam in Congress.

First, Trump proposed that the federal government spend more money to make a better healthcare system. Trump didn’t manage to explain how he would pay for it given his “balanced” budget is $2 trillion short due to a math error or the expensive tax cuts. One suggestion is that Trump “fix” Obamacare by making it into a single-payer program like the Australian program he heralded and promoted to the country’s president.

Ultimately, the internet found the tweets hilarious and ripe for mockery. Trump responded to it with a third tweet, shouting the mockery was “fake news” rather than editorializing. For some, the mockery isn’t about fake news or attempting to take down his policies but merely the perks of a free press.

"Tweety Bird" is not a figure of Dread, Donald.

‘Tiny hand clenched on top’: Internet hilariously mocks Trump for plagiarizing his family coat of arms

News broke Monday that President Donald Trump appears to have plagiarized his family coat of arms that appears outside of the Trump National Golf Club outside of Washington. This weekend the Senior PGA Championship was hosted at the golf club and the “Trump family coat of arms” was featured on signs all over.

The actual emblem features three lions and two chevrons on a shield with a gloved hand gripping an arrow or spear, The New York Times reported. The coat of arms was originally granted by British authorities in 1939 to Joseph Edward Davies. He was the third husband of Marjorie Merriweather Post, the man who built the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. Ironically, he once served as the ambassador to the former Soviet Union.

The Trump Organization staged a hostile takeover of the coat of arms and replaced the Latin word for “integrity” with “Trump.”

In the tweets in the article there is a shot of Trump on the golf course. Very funny picture, it appears the Prezident beshat himself. :D So typical of the Trumpanzy.

‘There is only one snowflake’: Kimmel writer hilariously mocks Trump after he blocked her on Twitter

Comedy writer Bess Kalb was apparently so ruthless with her jokes aimed at President Donald Trump late Sunday night that he blocked her on Twitter.

The Emmy-nominated “Jimmy Kimmel Live” writer joined in a chorus of those poking at Trump‘s Sunday tweets about healthcare and tax reform. After reverberating mockery lit up his mentions, Trump fired off another tweet attacking the “fake news” for making fun of him. That was when Kalb was blocked.

“OH. MY. EFFING. GOD. The president of the United States just blocked me on Twitter because I hurt his feelings. #MAGA,” she tweeted, showing a screen capture. “From now on, there is only one Snowflake.”
:D

“It is mortifying, yet unsurprising to me that the leader of the free world could be so wounded by the gentle ribbing of a comedy writer,” she continued. “And if I could talk to him now I’d tell him: ‘Donald, sticks and stones may break your bones but articles of impeachment will harm you.'”

CNN guest slams ‘deplorable’ Trump plans: ‘The most boorish ignorant foreign policy we’ve seen’

Talk radio host Bill Press unleashed on President Donald Trump’s foreign policy in a Memorial Day political panel on CNN.

News broke over the weekend that German Chancellor Angela Merkel revealed she believes the EU countries can no longer count on the United States as an ally. She went on to suggest the EU might think of acquiring their own nuclear weapons arsenal as a result.

“First of all, if you talk about not smart foreign policy, I think we just saw an example on the part of our president of the most boorish ignorant foreign policy we’ve seen,” Press said. “Angela Merkel was reflecting reality. The United States is not reliable anymore as a partnership particularly in Europe or around the world. I think that is very — should be very troubling for all Americans. Particularly this European partnership.”

Press went on to give the historic context of his accusations saying that the relationship and partnership between the U.S. and Europe dates back to over 70 years of sharing intelligence and a national security allegiance. He noted that it was a particular concern for Republican presidents over the years.

Former Michigan gov: Trump is ‘creating a circular firing squad and he’s the one pulling the trigger’

:D:D:D

Former Gov. Jennifer Granholm (D-MI) was taken aback by the idea that President Donald Trump is setting up a “war room” to navigate the Russia scandal. She told CNN’s David Gregory on “New Day” that normally such “war rooms” are for policy related issues.

“Governors have war rooms. I set up war rooms because we had a national blackout or the auto industry was going into bankruptcy,” she explained. “You have a war room for a specific crisis. In this case, the war room is because the president created the crisis. He’s not listening in the war to his generals. He is creating the problem, he’s created essentially a circular firing squad although he’s the one pulling the trigger. That is not a great way to do a staff shakeup.”

Granholm went on to encourage Trump to set up a war room to combat serious issues facing the country, such as the opioid crisis, creating jobs or navigating the global economy. She called Trump’s RussiaGate war room “a waste of human resources” focusing on himself and not the country.

Less than six months and he's already at WAR, and it's with the FBI! ---:D

Trump tweets criticism of Germany after Merkel questioned US reliability

U.S. President Donald Trump criticised Germany on Tuesday for its trade surplus and military spending levels, a day after Chancellor Angela Merkel rammed home her doubts about the reliability of the United States as an ally.

“We have a MASSIVE trade deficit with Germany, plus they pay FAR LESS than they should on NATO & military. Very bad for U.S. This will change,” Trump tweeted.

On Monday, Merkel underlined her doubts about the reliability of the United States as an ally, venting European frustrations with Trump after back-to-back summits last week, but said she was a “convinced trans-Atlanticist”.

What a Dick!

White House issues bizarre statement touting Trump’s ‘magnetic personality’ that ‘exudes positive energy’
Lol, ROFLMAO

The absence of communications director Michael Dubke must already be impacting the White House because the statements coming out of the press office seem a little off. In fact, some online critics are mocking it as a “parody” statement that looks like Trump wrote himself.

“President Trump has a magnetic personality and exudes positive energy, which is infectious to those around him,” the statement from White House spokeswoman Hope Hicks reads. “He has an unparalleled ability to communicate with people, whether he is speaking to a room of three or an arena of 30,000. He has built great relationships throughout his life and treats everyone with respect. He is brilliant with a great sense of humor … and an amazing ability to make people feel special and aspire to be more than even they thought possible.”

Yeah, Right. :);):rolleyes::D:D

Drip, drip,drip.

White House considers new Chief of Staff

With few victories to claim during his first four months in office, President Donald Trump and his administration have long strained to find both cohesion and avoid controversy while attempting to roll out the Republican’s proposed aggressive agenda. That’s led many to question Trump’s political acumen and even his staffing choices, which, in turn, has fueled speculation about whether a major shakeup within the West Wing is on the horizon.

It appeared Tuesday that such a changing-of-the-guard had already begun when communications director Mike Dubke tenured his resignation, Axios reported. And even bigger change could be underway. The story indicated that a former campaign senior adviser, David Urban, could be up for the key position of chief of staff, essentially second-in-line when it comes to the White House and how the administration is run.

The 53-year-old Urban’s work during the campaign and his political experience could pump up the administration’s experience level while ousting current Chief of Staff Reince Priebus. The former chairman of the Republican National Committee, Priebus could move on to the role of ambassador to Greece, the Washington Post reported Saturday, a switch up that was characterized as a way for Priebus to “save face.” The move could also lessen the reportedly constant infighting between White House staffers and advisers like Steve Bannon. Bannon has also reportedly been feuding with Trump’s son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner, further evidence of discontent and a lack of teamwork on the president’s staff that’s only increased tensions and greatly affected Trump’s attempts to repeal and replace Obamacare and get his budget passed.

Rience's job would have been easier with a rational Prezident.

I really cannot get over this:

President Trump has a magnetic personality and exudes positive energy, which is infectious to those around him,” the statement from White House spokeswoman Hope Hicks reads.

That was an ACTUAL press release, not a parody.

I truly believe he thinks that should be enough for "the media." They should put stuff like this on the front page as Breaking News of every web site, every day. Who does he think he is, Kim Jong Un?

Kushner: Trump ‘knows Republicans are stupid’

During a discussion on how to cover Trump, the former New York Observer editor, Elizabeth Spiers, claimed she told Kushner that she had serious problems with Trump’s repeated claims that Obama was not born in the U.S., to which Kushner allegedly told her: "He doesn't really believe it, Elizabeth. He just knows Republicans are stupid and they'll buy it."

Spiers told her Kushner anecdote in response to a question from a conservative blogger on Facebook, and then screenshotted the response and put it up on Twitter.

Also, too:

Almost half of Trump’s Twitter followers appear to be fake

:D

Trump thinks we should get rid of the filibuster because: Majority

Each of these efforts has stalled either in the White House or in Congress, but Trump has leveled much of the blame on Senate Democrats. White House press secretary Sean Spicer said the president’s “frustration” was that the White House’s big-ticket items have bogged down because of Democrats’ ability to block measures using filibuster rules. Republicans control 52 of the Senate’s 100 seats, requiring them to get support from Democrats on many issues.

“Part of the reason that he is frustrated with the Senate rules is because when there is a majority of support on key issues — or key people, as the case was in the confirmation process — he thinks it’s standing in the way of progress that the American people have asked for,” Spicer said
.

Yeah, kind of like a majority of Americans voting for one candidate over the other.
