No, dumb fuck, the correct math is: if he'd had a gun, there would be many more dead, including the Muslim women. He only got two because he only had a knife.

Oh, and BTW...odds are the two men who died defending these women were Christian.

Portland? And someone with a first name of Taleisin? Doubt he was Christian any more than the Nutjob was. Strikes me the nutjob was verbally abusing those women and those three guys got in his face without thinking thru the possibilities. Just call the cops and stand back and don't interfere unless it turns violent. Or you have a gun and you're prepared to use it and deal with the consequences. I've been on the receiving end of stuff like that now and then, at work a few times, I just back off and let security deal with it. Strikes me these three were trying to be heroes and it backfired rather badly. I hate to sound sane and rational but just leave it to the cops, that's there job. The asshole was just being an asshole up until they "intervened."

And right, I train with knives and swords as well as guns and you are so right, no way in hell is it easier to kill multiple people with a knife over a gun. I love sword fighting but get real, guns win almost every time in the real world.

Read the article if you're gonna post it. His FIRST NAME was Christian, not his religion, and he is a white supremacist with multiple felonies. He's well known to the police, who said he has mental issues.

Yes, he can be called a white terrorist, one of the few the USA has seen act out. Also, odd are that he was busy yelling at the muslim women and would have left it at that if three guys hadn't tried to intervene, and now two of them are dead.

Any knife or gun restrictions are useless at this point because he wasn't legally allowed to have them, but laws don't stop criminals.

You know as recent as a year ago I'd be inclined to agree with you about calling the cops and playing it safe and not getting crazy.

But I add for most. I've been training for over three decades and have no issues inserting myself into that type of scenario because I could defuse it easily and most likely with no one getting hurt.

These days? I have to be honest. I'd have gotten in his face for verbally abusing those women-and any man that stands there and allows that is no man. These guys had the right intentions.

And when he kept yapping I admit I'd have beaten the piss out of him. Its all the hateful and ignorant faction of Trump's supporters understand is hate. They think they're 'tough' they think people are afraid of 'cult 45' they need to be shown differently.

I've already had a couple run ins with trumps clansmen of late. I'm 2-0 and I am so looking forward to more.

I'm someone with a lot of malice in them I've fought hard to control over the years. I'm convinced this is the time where its going to serve people well to show the bullies of the right people are not going to take their bullshit.

See, and that's the thing. I'm the same but from the Trump supporting side. I'm not prepared to take the left wing in your face verbal abuse anymore without responding in kind. And it only takes one side to push it further than that which I suspect is what happened here. Fuses are short all round. We'll likely see more of this as we go forward now. Part of that breakdown in societal cohesion I was yapping about a day or two ago

Y'all demand things like equality, inclusiveness, and acceptance - but only when the stance is one you approve of, otherwise here come the fists.

So uhm... I should clarify some things. First, I know his name was Christian. However, the left will get really upset if I don't declare him a Christian terrorist since I do that to all the brown people who commit terrorism. Because brown = Muslim, right?

Secondly, I know that a gun would do more damage. The point was that he did just fine without one. So did the guys at the 'Arena Grenade' concert. To say it's easier to commit crimes without a gun was a bit of hyperbole, and a reminder to the left that a gun-free America would not necessarily be a less violent America. Well, especially considering that there are many people who would own guns illegally if guns were banned.

What liberals like to do is turn any violent act in the US into a terrorism "incident." So, if non-religious people or people who have no religious motivation to commit an act of terrorism actually kills people in any way, that can be misconstrued as a terrorist "incident."

So while people are committing horrific violent crimes because they are psychopaths, over in the middle east, people are committing violent crimes for the purpose of following their religious scripture. These people literally think they are cleansing themselves of sin by becoming a martyr for their god.

The major problem is that terrorists do not fear death in any way. In fact, they are afraid of what happens if they don't die a martyr. That fear is what turns you into a religious terrorist.

I think the worst thing is that it's not us who is going to suffer from allowing the Muslim population in the US to grow. It's the next generation, and the one after that. But it doesn't matter. America is already completely fucked, a laughingstock to the rest of the world, and it's dying a slow, painful death.
