The Wonderful World of Artsy Images.

I confess I've been lurking in here...

Some lovely pictures recently. I particularly liked Icy's nipple (how could you think that wasn't artsy? It's fabulous!), Tali's pearls (just gorgeous, the back and the pearls) and Mister Song's reflections (very artsy, you make us want to see what you're seeing...)

Such artistry in this thread all round... *happy sigh* :)

Agreed! :) And thank you for the lovely comment. :rose:

That is very nice to know Numi.

It's always lovely to see what gets posted here.

In the spirit of this note, just thought I'd share a quote from "The Science of Us" (part of nymag.com):

"Those higher in intellect, or openness to experience, were more likely to swear around other people, buy organic food, create art, eat spicy breakfasts, not follow a sports team closely, do car maintenance on their own, and to lounge around the house without clothes on."

Can't say I get the part about following a sports team, but the rest, especially creating art, suggests that one reason we all come here is because we share such smarts.

I do like that quote. Apart from the spicy breakfast and the car maintenance, I think I can put a tick next to the rest  *feels unaccountably smug*

May I also take this opportunity to say how much I have been enjoying your current AV, Mr G?

I saw the thread made for my pics. I'll stick to mostly threads like Fred's and this one. Playing with a pic I put on Fred's, I want to have higher intelligence too by creating art. This one is what Norman Bates saw when I stayed at his motel.

Yes, you may take that opportunity, and I'm happy to inspire your enjoyment.:rose:

I'll take over Norman's part in the rest of this scene, and it will end much better.

I spent a few moments trying to find words that adequately described this. Breath-taking is the closest I could find--and really, it's far beyond that. :rose:

Norman Bates was a guy who took ladies' breath away too, but you mean it in a nice way. Thanks.

While some of us are posting living works of art, I didn't want to neglect this gallery of originals. In this pic, with repeated layering of a filter, it comes out like a pointilist portrait by Seurat--although the artist was impatient and didn't wait for the model to disrobe completely.

Thank you for not forgetting this Artsy thread.
I like this effect and pose looks great too.

That's very classy, Mr G. Your artist clearly knows her onions. And thanks to her for letting us share them...

Who wouldn't be impatient there? You know what I like.

When you are naked, you are a work of art.

How could I forget where I hang some of our pictures? And such a lovely curator too. Thanks.

True of every body. Well said.

And I like your impatience.

It's either artsy or just lazy.
