Powerful new Dutch documentary film about the links between and among trump, organized crime, the blood diamond "business" in Angola, human trafficking, some American businesses. Two parts. Gives you some idea why trump is in panic mode and suddenly fired Comey. But there's a lot of other law enforcement already investigating trump. Good film.

I agree. It is deeply troubling. And There will be much more to follow. Again, as we have seen in the last four days, the FBI has significantly deepened its investigation of trump and his criminal business dealings. The various investigators in the film are going at trump hammer and tong. We will all stay tuned. Even his supporters are turning on him. My god, did you see that trump supporter Congressman from New Jersey last week face 2 hours of nonstop angry, rage-filled, ex trump supporters grilling their Republican Congressman in the face to face town meeting? In 2 hours they covered a range of subjects from A to B!! They only talked about 2 subjects: healthcare and trump's firing of Comey!! 2 hours of Q and A. Just 2 subjects. Trump's supporters at least in that district are holding him accountable in just the way the Founding Fathers envisioned. They rotisseried him!! Ha ha!! Was a beautiful thing.

What these panels are specifically looking at is not known, although foreign surveillance search warrants reportedly have been issued. The presumption is they are tracing the Trump campaign’s collusion with Russia to win the presidency.

Meanwhile, Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Wednesday there would be no independent prosecutor to pick up where Comey’s FBI left off, slickly saying that would “impede current work.” And there was also news that New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has launched a grand jury investigation.

Can I point out a couple of somethings here? The bolded words bother me. Read them without the rest. Doesn't it seem odd to you that the words "investigation" and the bolded ones above aren't necessarily compatible?

STATE investigations are irrelevant to Trump. He can't be tried in an ordinary court while still President. States can't bring articles of impeachment.

Reportedly? The Presumption? Slickly? Ties to the Democratic party? Ties to right-wing sites? Are these words that should be used in an article which is supposedly determining if there are VALID investigations into Trump's behavior? Or are these words more likely to be used in an article trumpeting the fact that there are investigations EVEN IF PHONY?

You be the judge here, but I'm thinking that proper journalism doesn't do that. And sources should be read with a jaundiced eye to be sure the source cite doesn't do that either.

We have enough partisan politics muddying the waters, we don't need to perpetuate it with half-baked articles.

The whole Russian gate collusion theory was cooked up simply to inoculate candidate Clinton and has morphed into a huge, substanceless spector of its own.

Now its an excuse why out-of-work rust-belt voters would vote for the candidate that did not tell them, "Fuck you!"
