Understood.

OMGsh - You should see the REI out here. It's AMAZING!! And, filled with all kinds of luscious patagucci!

It has a huge deck that wraps around the back of the store, which backs up to the woods. It's amazing. There's a coffee shop (starbucks) on the first floor and opens up onto the deck. Everyone bikes up there. Or, brings their dogs. Everyone out here has dogs.

LOL.....Sometimes places like that get on my nerves.

Ohh that's magnificent. Could you imagine seeing a place like that in person.

I have. :)

I know...but they're all pretty laid back. It's a different culture out here. They're into health and fitness and love their dogs. They don't do it to "be seen." It's just they way everyone is.

Where is it? I want to put it on my bucket list

When I see someone (usually a woman) walking around in shiny new extratuff's I have to figure that they just poseurs.

Knik Glacier, where a bit of Star Trek VI was filmed. You can ride your fatbike there in winter. Or drive the 4x4 there in Summer.

That is SO awesome. Love the diversity of seasons. Ive been to the Columbia Icefield Glacier - Are you familiar?

I have not been there.

I will send you a photo of my patagucci rain coat at Matanuska Glacier.

Ever try this stuff. Like crack for stocked trout here. It's cornmeal based and I believe fish farm food is heavily cornmeal based. So the trout remember it well. Good for newbies hoping to catch fish.

Nope.

I don't fish much in stocked lakes.

That's the beauty of the cornbread bait. Wild trout are raised on cornbread cooked by their mamas, not that catered shit they serve fingerlings at fisheries.
You just make sure you have the right kind of cornbread bait for where you're fishing. And REAL anglers always choose Wild Mama Trout's Original Cornbread Bait.
