If/when Obamacare is repealed, how quickly will you kick the bucket?
I've heard several Democrats saying thousands if not millions will be at immediate risk of death or worse when Ocare vanishes. Even with our small GB community here, it's not out of the question that a few of us will be impacted given those thoughtful, scientifically backed Democrat forecasts of health care doom.
And if it's not you, certainly you have a handful of friends who'll kick the bucket when the benefits of Ocare are cruelly withdrawn by evil Republicans.

Three hours into its existence, this thread seems to indicate no one on Lit or their circle of family and friends will be adversely impacted by the demise of Obamacare.
Startling, indeed, given the grave consequences of repeal promised by many Democrat politicians.
We'll see how this plays out. I'll bet a lot of working people will have their share of stories about how they will suffer when Ocare is repealed.
And remember, just because no one here can actually show harm will be caused by repeal, others would be telling us about it but they are already in comas.

Given that lit is an international site I imagine only a few Yanks. It certainly won't be affecting anyone who I care about all of whom live in civilised countries.

Economically it would be a very good thing if the death rate of Americans could be increased sharply. Already the American life expectancy is 4 to five years behind most civilized countries. However, its unfunded pension liabilities are colossal. The choice is either increased taxes or an increased death rate,( particularly of the superfluous elderly.) has to be faced.

I would be happy to recommend suitable candidates for disposal from Lit.

And of course, say 20 million less Americans would fix any immigration problem overnight.
