An idea I had, but don't have the time to develop:

An asian teacher in the USA, married of course, is very close to one of her students. As he approaches eighteen, she becomes more enamored with him, leading to a full blown affair on the night of his eighteenth birthday.
Maybe it ends with her running off with the student?
(the student doesn't have to be male)

or a wild threesome including hubby?
or a wild three or foursome after the parent-teacher conference?

One idea would be to treat the developing relationship as taboo; which it is I suppose. That being so, it wouldn't need to be a full on affair, in fact when it becomes a totally sexual thing the original storyline becomes irrelevant.

Because there is so much to lose in pursuing the attraction, small actions provide greater erotic tension, I think. For example, making brief eye contact across a crowded room, a lingering touch....a poetic note left...

You would need to make it the student's 19th birthday I think...;)

Teacher is at a rich prep school. Falls into trouble financially, rich young students offer to bail her out..... if.......

I guess, as most Americans do when they think "Asian", you mean someone like me - East Asian.

mmm, nice. A twist might be a lightweight submissive storyline; where the students offer the money, with no strings attached. But they do invite her to their own private club, where women enjoy a role play of serving drinks and nibbles to the gentlemen members. With each drink served, they strip off a layer of clothing.

The teacher comes to the club, out of gratitude and observes, discretely. Then decides, yes she would like to take part the following week, voluntarily......

That's a valid point Katie and most are unaware of the history between a lot of "Asian" countries. I suppose it's just simplicity when people talk about Asian, say rather than Malaysian, or Japanese. In terms of a story, it's probably something that only gets said at the start, so yes, why not use the actual country name....."Little did Li yi know, when recalling her childhood in the tiny little Malaysian village....."
