Now that the regular season is coming to an end, what summer shows (think thats what they call the "other" season) are you looking forward to seeing ?

I'm still not done with Orange is the New Black, Walking Dead and Better Call Saul. Haven't even started Stranger Things and a few others. Anything new coming out is gonna wait a while except House of Cards and Kimmie Schmidt. I'll watch those ASAP.

Those shows currently being shot in Chicago are pretty good.

Stranger Things? Never hear of it. I saw 1 episode of Walking Dead and realized I was not into zombies...lol

In my opinion, Better Call Saul is the best show on TV right now.

Forgot Game of Thrones is next month so got that coming up, too. This is why I'm behind on all the other shows.

I hate to admit it, but I'm looking forward to The Bacherlorette in a few weeks. (Will he get the rose?)

I have no idea what shows are coming this summer, I drastically reduced TV time last fall, so I will probably be reading or outside.

I just heard the Shooter (based on the Mark Walburg movie) is coming back this July.

I'm not so much into tv shows that I would even know the "seasons".

However, back when we had HBO, I totally digged on:

True Detective
Deadwood
Carnival
Rome
Sopranos
and others....

Husband has bought all the dvd's of these shows in their entirety.

I've always liked the true crime shows...always been a punk for mysteries and forensics!

Now, the first channel I check anymore is the Travel Channel and their series on "Mysteries at the Museum" and "Expedition Unknown".

Somebody in another thread recently mentioned that I often post on "past".

I hadn't realized that, but it's true! I'm a history buff to the core!

"Mysteries at the Museum" - great show

I love real life type shows. I am not talking about reality shows because we all know they are scripted. Im talking about "live pd" type of shows. Its basically the tv show Cops but live.

If you want to laugh your ass off you need to watch "Impractical Jokers". Very funny show. 4 very close friends play jokes on each other (nobody gets hurt) but its also a competition. YouTube 1 of the shows and let me know what you think.

Season two of The Last Kingdom is out on Netflix so I'll check that out.

I just signed on to Amazon Prime so I can watch American Gods, since the general consensus seems to be they didn't fuck it up.

Nothing else there looks all that interresting though.

I got the Prime student deal about 18 months ago. Every time Amazon fuck up an order or it arrives late, a regular occurrence in NI, I complain and they give me an extra month free Prime. I'm good to November atm.

Omg! I finally have met somebody of like mind! I've seen the "Impractical Jokers" on my tv menu but never thought to check it out!

I will now! Thanks southbabes!

Watch 1 episode and let me know what you think. The opening credits says it all "The following program contains scenes of graphic stupidity among 4 lifelong friends who compete to embarrass each other"

Thats the show in a nutshell... Some practical jokes are funnier then others but think about you hanging out with your friends and doing this....lol
