I'm going through the roughs now, but this one stood out. Gonna leave uncropped because - well - it's a Goddamn great picture if I do say so myself!

It really is exquisite. And, wonderful use of the word 'haberdashery' as well.

The retro filter leave the colours as they would have been back in the 60's, not as vivid as today's due to the limited film processing capabilities.

Yeah, I think so too. And seeing as it's really only cleavage showing, I decided to just leave it as is. But the hat and the eyes had to stay.

I think when I shoot my pictures, I try to embody what I wish to be, my very best self. The one I keep seeing in my mind and dreams.

Certainly not the person who runs errands and burns the grilled cheese, or forgets the wet laundry in the machine and then has to rewash the entire lot because it smells bad.

I try to create a tiny, perfect snapshot fantasy. A microcosm of what I perceive as the closest I can come to my mental images of what sex, love, lust, desire and beauty are for me, at that particular time. Or at least, as best I can do with a cell phone camera and a selfie stick!
