What did you want to be when you were a young 'un?

My wishlish started with Policeman, then Firefighter, lastly I settled on helicopter pilot.

Now I farm lol didn't get to either one of those on my wishlist after all

Astronaut, because space & sci-fi enthralled my senses.

Wasn't sophisticated enough being a kindergartener to understand I was only in love with the fantasia ideal of being an astronaut from gazing at painted illustrations in space books and H'wood flicks, but it was a fun fancy to entertain for a while.

I wanted to be a cop like my mom.

I am definitely not a police officer.

I wanted to fly F-18's for the Canadian Forces (well at first it was Voodoo's, then it morphed into F-18's). Mostly because going fast and blowing shit up is fabulous.

I ended up leaving home when I was 16 because mum wouldn't let me have a motorcycle, became a weekend warrior reservist infantryman, blew shit up and still go too fast on motorcycles. And yeah it's still fucking fabulous, haa haa.

You forgot to mention you drive that little car way too fast on Wisconsin back roads...if you take out my shiba I will never forgive you. Oh, and yourself, but the shiba??

I wanted to be and still am a musician. That morphed into recording engineer and record producer and eventual studio owner.

It is awesome you are doing what you love.

It is kind of sad..... I d o not remember what I wanted to be.

a doctor though there was a period where i was fascinated by fighter planes. the doctor thing when out the window when some helpful, dreamcrushing ass pointed out that i'd have to deal with people and all their disgusting fluids. also, that it takes years of schooling and a fuck ton of cash. oh well.

still, fuck that cunt, i was like twelve. fucking prick.

I wanted to be a forensic pathologist up until age 17. After that, I wanted to be archeologist.

I made a list:

architect, civil engineer, head shrinker, military, detective, s metal worker, artist, and teacher. I did it all b ut teacher. I was plenty of other things like garbage man, cab driver, waiter, but my list features the real jobs for 3 tears or more.

And I didn't do any of my real aptitudes: Physician, petroleum engineer, landscape architect.

I wrote a paper when I was 13 about being a nurse. I did. That was a long time ago. You can do many different things as a nurse. I worked in a hospital for about 3 years and have been out in the community since then. 164 Fridays left and then I'm closing the door.

You should always have a trade to fall back on. Even Jesus was a carpenter before he became a messiah.

Bill Cosby. No, really.
And I think I might have been able to do it without the raping part. Maybe. For all I know it's mandatory but I like to assume it's not.
