You good with what you paid? Getting your money's worth? Even if you got a refund you paid. (Unless of course you got the EITC - did you?)

What was your effective tax rate?

It's been several years since I treated myself to anything. I didn't really need it - my old one is still functioning - but I wanted it. The professional grade KitchenAid stand mixer. In red. :D

ETA... this is what happens when you read things without coffee or being awake.

Effective tax rate... eh. NOYB. However it is okay. I'm among the working stiffs. My income tax is just a drop in the bucket. Property, sales, fees etc.

0%

Haven't paid Federal or State Income Taxes since I stopped working in Tax Year '11.

Not a penny in '12, '13, '14, '15 or '16. Won't be anything in '17 or '18 either. If I plan right, I might not be taxable after that either.

Don't really pay that much attention to the details but I get to live in a free country that is pretty safe compared to almost anyone else in the world so I got no complaints about paying taxes.

You only pay taxes on money you make
I never get to claim any benefits like tax reductions or rebates.
I just get to help the underpriviledged. (fucking spelling)
I'm good with that considering how hard I work and the life I live.

I always pay a little extra through the year so I know I don't have to rush with any deadlines.
Never filed for 5 years a few years ago and got a handy little $10,000.00 return
This year I filed as soon as I could and already got the return, just cause I felt like it.
