Narcissistic Personality Disorder is also classified as a mental health disorder - just putting it out there for....you know......anyone who may or may not suffer that particular disorder themselves (lack empathy, grandiosity, seeking excessive admiration, etc).
A condition unknown in the United States, I'm sure.

Lemme toss in a caveat or two about diagnoses.
Where most laymen go wrong is when they try and make one size fit all. But the REAL DEAL is always off the chart in terms of the problems the disorder causes. The REAL DEAL is dangerous and a threat. Think mad dog. Theyre beyond asshole and annoying. Theyre rabid.
Harry Stack Sullivan comes to mind.
Sullivan was an MD snd psychiatrist and a genius. His ideas about how our relationships make and break us is true enlightenment. And he his patients beat up when they violated his treatment plans. DO IT MY WAY OR YOULL GET MORE THAN YOUR FEELINGS HURT is narcissist on a platter.

Relative Priorities.
If transgender people represent 0.1% of the population and I suspect that estimate is high, how can it be a problem if slightly less than 50% attempt suicide. Cynics might suggest they be wished future success rather than have society accommodate their 'problems'.
They are far too unimportant to become part of the educational curriculum. We might be better served teaching kids good manners rather than constantly sucking up to every self interested minority group of no consequence.

It's a concern but so is the idea of people continuing to live unhappily and unfulfilled. There might be no perfect outcome available as yet for some people. We might be more concerned about suicide rates in professions like doctors or dentistry, or agriculture. But they are rather 'wholesome and traditional' so maybe they are not as important a discussion?
It's a concern to family and friends, of that there is no doubt. And I applaud any of those individuals that want to start a non-profit organization to address the issue. Where I draw the line is when those organizations lobby legislatures for monies to continue their 'good works.' There is NO overwhelming public interest at stake here that would warrant the expenditure of taxpayer dollars.

Twenty-odd years ago therapists brought their tranny dears to my ER for suicidal ideation (NO ONE LOVES ME...I WANNA DIE). And I refused to admit the dears to the female ward. The therapists always shit but the dears went to the male ward.

I didn't diagnose anyone - I merely said narcissistic personality disorder is an affliction. I didn't call anyone out specifically for having it. You attributed it to me though. Don't get mad when you fling shit at people and they fling it back.

It's always been easier to just yap about others different from you in semi-closed, low-challenge, no-risk ponds like the GB than actually going to TG or other marginalized community-centric spaces and sites where they forum and talking to them directly like people or something. It's safer this way and no one's knocked down your protective wall of ignorance at the end of the day.
Maybe the OP's scared of being bit or getting transgender cooties.
Do you really think that would teach them anything? The only upside is that once a narcissist looks in a mirror it's hard to tear himself away, which at least keeps him out of everybody's shit for a while.

The endocrine system (controls hormones, among other things) is one of the most complex, confusing and difficult to grasp systems in human biology. There's also a lot of things we don't know about the human endocrine system.
So, maybe pushing transgenderism, and normalizing hormone therapy is a way to test life extending/anti-aging drugs on human subjects?
The history of medicine is not pretty. Ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans did horrible, inhumane things. They needed bodies to dissect. Vivisection was a thing, it was documented.
