Abortion is a no win argument. I will deny the right exists in the plain language of the Constitution, and that it doesn't exist without invention in the 14th Amendment either, but why bother, it's the law now.

I take no pleasure in the argument other than to say it's preposterous to state the right exists in the Constitution. I object to new found rights constructed from penumbras imagined by the bench, especially for the purpose of diminishing the right of state's to make their own laws. I have no problem with abortion or gay marriage or other identified extra-constitutional rights as long as they are written by the people of the states, where it seems to me the real power to do so resides. Advance apologies to Col. Hogan who I enjoy, but who will no doubt take exception.
