Smoking Gun In Obama/Trump Spy Case?

Trump's original tweets left me with the impression, as it was intended to, that at some point o'bama personally ordered the wiretapping of Trump's phone.

Clearly that never happened. Trump lied, or was given some fake news that he took as real.

Everything else on this issue is just flimflam.

Or, he did to the Democrats and their press what they were doing to him.

Make wild, unsubstantiated claims about treason with Russia.

It turns out, his wild claim was nearer the mark than than theirs. The investigation they demanded of him turned on them. The Dems wanted to blow up the Trump Administration, but are now "hoisted upon their own petard." Therefore, the Trump "lie" was a winning bit of strategy because it has uncovered actual law-breaking in the unmasking of the names of members in his administration.

To dismiss this as flim-flam is pure partisanship that says when we do it, we don't expect to be called on it, we expect everyone to go after our target. We can never be the target.

The only smoking gun in Washington these days is the one the President keeps firing at his ear. If there was ever a guy who could stand to learn more about "firearm safety"....

Pointing a gun in your ear has nothing to do with safety. :D

Not sure how many times this nonsense needs to be shut down. The surveillance which was done was not directed at Trump, Trump Tower or any of his people. The ones being surveilled were foreign agents.

Further, as Nunes himself stated, this was routine surveillance and not ordered by Obama.

Finally, the reason Obama ordered all the information widely disseminated was because he was (rightfully) concerned Trump would bury anything which came out regarding his collusion with Russia. By disseminating the information as widely as possible Trump could not later claim there was no evidence for his collusion.

The very opposite of what Trump has been saying for the past two weeks, which is, Obama ordered wiretaps on Trump Tower.

There is no smoking gun. It's all been well documented this past week what actually happened.

P.S. You will note in the article Nunes' weasel words, “This information was legally brought to me by sources who thought that we should know it,”

In other words, someone leaked the information. Will the con artist go on a tirade about this leaked information?

Bullshit. Read this letter to Chairman Nunes:

Ell-oh-ell. PLEASE continue putting your eggs in Nunes' basket. This is gonna be hilarious.

I haven't put my eggs in anyone's basket. I simply presented a letter to the Chairman that ought to be of interest to all concerned with civil liberties. If you aren't, don't bother.

Funny how the author never mentions Bush authorized wiretaps on Americans right after 9/11. In fact, Bush ordered phone companies to install wiretaps so intelligence agencies could listen in and hoover-up all phone conversations without a warrant:

http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/12/17/bush.nsa/

Yet now, when Obama follows in those footsteps, suddenly it's an issue.

Further, and has been repeated countless times, Obama did not order the surveillance. This was done by the agencies themselves, unlike Bush who did directly order the surveillance.

That the author tries to use the excuse of blackmail as the reason for this surveillance is truly laughable. With all that information, Obama still couldn't get things done he wanted, yet we're supposed to believe he had all this information at his fingertips.

If you, and others, are so concerned about this surveillance, go back to the Bush administration where things really took off and order the same information be revealed. I can assure you, the same people the author talks about being caught up in surveillance under Obama were already done so in the prior administration yet no one raised a stink about it.

You won't hear me defend either one, but the subject at hand is the political surveillance, illegal unmasking, and illegal leaking of classified info for political gain by the Obama administration. The contents of this letter ought to scare everyone. I think this is an insight into why Nunes went to the President and why he was alarmed, possibly why Comey made an unannounced trip to the White House yesterday. This could be big, very big.

Let's see if on Monday, after the closed session of the Intel Committee, Comey resigns his position as FBI Director.

Keep reaching, prairee nigger!

Everything old is new again.

...Off the tops of your heads, how many here remember or know what the 'Family Jewels' files were?

Nothing wrong with shoe-in.

Sure it is. As a liberal you are never wrong because it's all about how you feel.

Shoe-In or Shoo-In :

A race horse so fast that you can merely shoo it across the finish line rather than having to urge it on with stronger measures is a “shoo-in": an easy winner.

It is particularly unfortunate when this expression is misspelled “shoe-in" because to “shoehorn" something in is to squeeze it in with great difficulty.

Cut him some slack. His party failed bigly this week.

Big man, pig man, ha ha charade you are.
You well heeled big wheel, ha ha charade you are.
And when your hand is on your heart,
You're nearly a good laugh,
Almost a joker,
With your head down in the pig bin,
Saying "Keep on digging."
Pig stain on your fat chin.
What do you hope to find.
When you're down in the pig mine.
You're nearly a laugh,
You're nearly a laugh
But you're really a cry.

May be a loss for the party, may not.
I'm pretty pleased this health care horseshit some Republicans tried to pass failed miserably. And I never fell for talk of a second bill and third bill that would take care of other horrible parts of Obamacare.
The GOP can either deal with O-care to actually solve its problems or it can leave it alone to die on its own. As bad as it is and as bad as it strangles the economy, it will continue to be hilarious watching Pelosi and others beaming and proclaiming what a success Obamacare is as the icy water laps at their feet.

Lots of rumours flying around right now that Flynn has cut a deal with the feds and Trump is in the frame.

Perhaps if Rubio and his merry band of cunts in the Senate hadn't gutted the risk corridor provision in the ACA, a lot of Ocare's problems wouldn't exist. But they were too busy playing partisan political games to worry about fucking the American public up the arse with a barbed wire dildo.

Yes, being a liberal I was able incorporate that spelling, of that phrase into the English language because I felt I wanted it to be there. You really are a special one, aren't you? ;)

I'm special because you want to spell words incorrectly?
Got it.
