So sad. The truth is I don't shop there now, but I use too. That's the problem.
Back home, one of our neighbors lived in one of those SEARS houses that was purchased out of the catalog.
Somehow we survived the passing of Montgomery Wards. I'm guessing if we all "stay strong together" we will eventually get through this.

Online shopping has replaced a lot of brick and mortar businesses. Sears used to be a great company. I have bought thousands of dollars in Craftsman tools in years past when they were still made in the USA, with no complaint. Now if I buy a tool I try and find an American made brand.
There are millions of them still standing in many parts of the country.
